7 years goes by in a flash. Good news, I’m graduating with my first degree on Friday. I keep reading old tumblr/dA posts and seeing how I fell off with art after going to college. Maybe now that it’s over, I’ll hopefully draw more?? I guess I do draw, but it’s all sketches -- not as much digital. I do hope I can practice more, though : ) I liked trying out this cut-out/flat coloring style

weeps, I feel like my screen tones are out of control. The exported jpeg always looks different when I finally export the manga studio file, so I guess I’ll need to work on that to figure the best settings -.-

Paper Hearts first 2 pages! I’ve already learned a few more things like how to resize the panels and working at a bigger res so the lines are smoother lol Inconsistent, but that’s what it takes to improve c:

ALRIGHT WOW decided to start the dream of creating my own manga (anyone remember Paper Hearts from years ago;;? ) Featuring my utau and later on @kusucchi‘s in a bunch of slice-y life stuff

I promised someone that she could read it first, but here it is for you all to ~see~ weeps, I hope to improve a bunch. This was my first time using Manga Studio 4-- kinda tricky to learn, but I really like the effects and tools! Next page coming soon hopefully?

Playing around with values and stuff -o-/ (it started off just gray-scale, but then my gf and I had an interesting discussion on how the mood of the piece changes when I threw on some color overlays... )

kusucchi and I designed uniforms for our “UTAU manga” last night! It made me want to draw this ship because it’s one-sidedness makes me laugh
