Short fanfic: what if lady had kittens.
Earth was crying, her usual composure cracking under the weight of fear. Of her beloved cat being missing right now that same protective instinct was tearing her apart. She couldn’t find her lady baby.
Lunar hovered nearby, gently trying to reassure her, but Earth was on the verge of shattering into pieces. Her mind spiraled into the worst scenarios. What if she fell in a hole and broke her legs? What if she got outside?
A frustrated tear slipped down her face. She was tired — tired of always being the one who had to fight, tired of carrying everything while others like Roxas barely lifted a finger to defend their home or themselves now her other sources of comfort is missing .
Then Mars’s voice cut through the tension over the speakers: “Earth, come to the security room.”
Earth ran to the security office. “Yes? Did you find her?” she asked, her voice full of worry.
Lunar followed close behind. Mars answered with a sad tone, “Yes… she went to Dazzle’s old room.”
Lunar stayed silent, but the sadness on his face was clear.
“Oh, thank you, Mars,” Earth said, a mix of sadness and relief in her voice. She quickly made her way to Dazzle’s old room with Lunar right beside her.
“Lady, baby!” she called out, nervous but relieved.
The sight that greeted her stopped her in her tracks. Lady was calmly grooming herself while five tiny kittens cuddled up against her, nursing peacefully.
“OH MY GOSH— LADY HAD BABIES!” Earth yelled in complete shock. She slowly approached, eyes wide. “Lady, when did this happen? I thought you were just getting chunky!”
Lady simply meowed at her in response.
Meanwhile, Sun was frozen in shock at the sight. “She had what!?”
