replace "the scene" for "the entire story, yeah, all of it"
Low-key hilarious how 95% of Dragonborn end up with a Hoard. Absolutely peak intersection of narrative and game design. You consume ONE dragon soul and next thing you know you’ve got 175 wheels of cheese. You learn like 3 whole words in Draconic and you’ve got poor Lydia pack-muling candelabras across the fjords. I personally mostly Hoarded precious metals and gems, but I’ve seen people who Hoarded books and pelts and, like…there is No mechanical reward for this. Players just love to Hoard shit in that game. Absolute Dragon behavior.
I am a leg-bouncer but cannot stand anyone else leg-bouncing near me because one of the main issues with neurodivergence is the hypocrisy 😂
Are you a fan of a video game franchise you dont play?
Yes
No
looking at your tags there chaos
what a coincidence because Yes One and YOU know what YOU did
I made the sensible decision not to go back down the Sims mines but now I'm ignoring quests to do alchemy in medieval Bohemia 😔
Whoops.
"I need to move on from BG3 to a game I can enjoy casually"
it's so wild to me that you absolutely cannot force a hyperfixation to happen. like you'll watch the most perfectly tailor-made-for-you content that everyone says you'll love and feel absolutely nothing, and then the thing you watch on a whim to fill time will reach through the screen and put its damn fingers in your brain and start rearranging the neurons right in front of you and every single time you're like THIS??? THIS??????? and this happens like every 6-12 months forever
i think it’s really funny when fandom people make fun of nonfandom people for not recognizing a fandom url. shit like “jackstanifold” or “strifesuccubus” or “hobocop” are not immediately recognizable as fandom references dude
“how did you not immediately recognize tumblr user ‘bigbluesoup’ as a fandom reference 😂” girl how was i expected to.
anyways put in the tags if you have a fandom url and how recognizable you think it is
i cannot emphasize how necessary it is to have a buddy to participate in fandom with. completely elevated experience. don't have a buddy? find someone you like and message them and be their friend. gush over every sketch and drabble and insane headcanon they have. live life to the fullest.
"but my existing fandom buddy isn't interested in my new fandom/hasn't seen it/read it/played it"
and?
make your problem their problem. spam them. infect them with your idiocy. now you're in the brainrot mines together.

I would die for Henry of Skalitz
You are faced with some random problem and the only person who can help you is the main character from the last piece of media you consumed (you can also do favorite character if there are multiple main characters). You can stay in this universe or be in the universe of the character, whichever you prefer, but the problem remains the same and the only person who can directly help you is the main character. That character can call on the help of those they know in their media, but when it comes down to it, they are the only person really helping you. How do you react to this situation?
Spin to find out your problem:
Your Reaction:
Literally the best problem and the best person to solve it! Yippee!
With this problem, character will definitely be helpful, this will go well!
Ok, could be worse, this is definitely going to be an adventure, but a fun one.
This problem isn't getting solved, actually more problems will be created help.
Well, I'm cooked, and so is the world honestly. And it won't even be that fun.
Fuck yeah I get to borrow Pebbles from Henry of Skalitz, I'm sure he'd be fine with that.

CHARLIZE THERON as ANDROMACHE THE SCYTHIAN in THE OLD GUARD (2020)
brooding men who cannot communicate their feelings if their life depended on it are only hot when they're fictional. if i have to deal with one in real life i will curse him and pray for his downfall every night before i go to bed
It's because the writer communicates their feelings for them. If people wanna pull that off in real life they need to hire a guy to walk around behind them narrating.
#can i be the guy#ill narrate SO incorrectly#theyll all learn how to talk for themselves just to shut me up (via @cirrus-grey)
i'm loving the implication that this isn't something they hired you for, but something you'd do as some sort of public service.
I've got an Open University module starting tomorrow, why would the Sims 1 & 2 rerelease today?!
Exercised (some) restraint and refunded it 😂
