i've been watching the japanese dub of yugioh dm for the first time and it's somehow even gayer than the 4kids dub. the dialogue here has been only slightly altered for comedic effect, lmao.

Well, this isn't a Yu-Gi-Oh thing, but! It's something I'd like to share here because I've seen the Randy Cunningham fandom getting pretty active on Tumblr.

This is an old insert/OC I made when I was like 10 or so (maybe 12, I don't remember exactly), What I did was redesign it with my current drawing skills and better capture what I wanted at that age.

And here, a slightly more detailed explanation of why I chose the elements of her design (as a child I had a crossover world with RC9GN, SU and MLP, that's why there are so many references), I tried to keep several of the references, others changed and others were final additions.

I mean, yes, I know Mokuba's birthday was celebrated yesterday because in Japan it was already 7, but that's over there; on this side is already 7, soooo HAPPY BIRTHDAY!

Literally, he carries the ship like he carries the team in LoL 🫵🏻

(My HC is that Mokuba is a super gamer fan, and he really likes LoL).

Lapis and Mokuba, from a young age, were always complicit in Seto's well-being. Even when he and Lapis argued, Mokuba kept in touch with Lapis.

Mokuba is the moral compass of the emotionally illiterate Seto. Without him, I repeat, the ship wouldn't be what it is. He's a very important and much-loved piece of work.

Mokuba, I love you, you deserve the world 🫶🏻

The cake was Seto's idea, or rather, the decoration, that's why the bastard is smiling 🫵🏻

The blue eyes that appears there is Djibril, the one who follows Mokuba everywhere. He's one of the three robot dragons Lapis gave to Seto.

Why those champions in the cake?

Braum: A champion Moki uses when he needs to support, plus it's his Kinnie 🫶🏻 (and as a bonus, I use it too).

Jhin and Caitlyn: Seto and Lapis' main ADCs, respectively.

Ahri: Because, like every LoL player, he had his Ahri fanboy phase (and Seto is VERY aware of that(?).

Seto likes to joke around from time to time... Or at least he's more likely to do so with his trusted people (Lapis and Mokuba).

I think Critias should be drawn more. He's beautiful.

I've wanted to draw them like this for a while because their dynamic is somewhat similar.

Critias first called Lazuli a "witch" in a derogatory way (they had a terrible time).

Then, he started being silly (simp).

It's incomplete, but it works for illustration purposes.
