Heartache of a girlfriend I just thought that being together as much as we can, actually would make her feel happy as much as I am everytime that we get to seize the moment of each day, grabbing every opportunity that we have while it last. I didn't think she felt the other way around. I might have been too clingy, I might have been too strict. I may be wrong but I don't know.

For the past 10 years, a lot of things happened in my life. There were people who came and left. People who made differences. There were times when all you gotta do was to look back. Other times, it made you wanna stay.

For some people, past could be a good place to reminisce, but not a good place to stay. Others would say, past is past, so you should never take it back. I once believed in that as well. I thought somehow, that what happened in the past should just stay as a memory, whether its good or bad. But, I could be wrong.

One thing that I would never regret on looking back is loving the same person that I’ve loved before. Many people may be judgmental, others may be supportive, but what I just know is that I am here and would willingly embrace what the old love has to offer me. Isn’t it amazing that after all these years, I thought I had lost the love that I had given to this person? But I was wrong, it’s always in my heart, it could have changed, but I’m pretty sure that it’s stronger now. After being apart for more than 8 years, here we are in the arms of each other, feeling the love that we have for each other. I really don’t know where has this feeling gone through all these years, but I would say that those years that we were apart, those years that we were with someone else, might be necessary in order for us to learn and to know our true selves.

This time, I hope that we are mature enough to handle things and to make our relationship work. I hope now that we have found each other again, we will work on creating good memories, overcoming bad situations, and loving each other unconditionally and thoroughly, without if’s and but’s, without doubts and hesitations, and with trust and faith in each other. Things may not be as smooth as we wish it to be, nobody said everything’s gonna be easy, but I hope that we will always find each other, we will have each other’s back, we will hold each other’s hands, and we will always love each other.
