here's a little comic, it's not completely show!gomens compliant but its headcanons i enjoy
comic notes under cut :)
oh it's lovely. It's beautiful. I love it very much thank you
"have you met the husbands who run the bookshop down the street?"
Aziraphale's nifty little glasses in Good Omens season 2
(Season 1 version)
something about a sudden rainstorm
Criminally underrated screenshot from good omens 2
Ineffable Husbands really is that ship that has it all. They’re married. They’re divorced. They’ve never been together at all. They’ve been pining for 6000 years. They’re gay except they’re also not at all. They’re technically enemies to lovers but they’ve never been enemies nor lovers. Name any fanfic trope, they’ve probably been there, done that and they were entirely oblivious about it. Incredible ship.
Oh my god I've been so stupid
GIVE ME COFFEE OR GIVE ME DEATH
It was an outright goddamn death threat
You either take the coffee, or take the death
Metatron you nasty little piece of shit
THIS MAKES SO MUCH SENSE I couldn't understand what the significance of that conversation/the coffee was but I think this is it.
Especially in the context of Metatron saying "For one prince of Heaven to be cast into the outer darkness makes a good story. For it to happen twice makes it look like there is some kind of an institutional problem," and then getting rid of Gabriel for not wanting to do Armageddon pt2 / the Second Coming. How many times has stuff like this happened??
(I saw a post that said Muriel might be an angel that was memory-wiped just like Gabriel given that they were present in the Job minisode and seem overly clueless a la Jim and I can see it tbh)
I bet Metatron is getting more pissed off cause the boss' son is now supposed to have his second coming and if people keep fucking up then Metatron could be in trouble w God? Bringing in Aziraphale means the job opening is filled AND he and Crowley can't team up to thwart it again. Seeing as how the memory-wipe on Gabriel didn't pan out like it likely did in the past, I could see Metatron changing tactics to something more harsh.
David Tennant, Michael Sheen & The Good Omens 2 Cast Answer Your Questions
he blushed your honor
I don’t think Crowley thinks Aziraphale doesn’t love him after that rejection.
Even in his speech he talks about THEM and how they stopped pretending they’re aren’t a thing.
He felt Aziraphale’s hands.
He knows. That’s why he’s heartbroken. Not because he thinks he was wrong, but because he knows he is right and yet…
It’s that moment when you know but you can’t do anything about it.
If Aziraphale simply rejected him because he didn’t want him, Crowley would have simply left. He wouldn’t be waiting. But he was.
some more book!husbands.
trying to make crowley's look scream "DICKHEAD" when you look at him and the he stands next to az and it screams "SUGAR BABY"
also when they get home:
Remember that this is not the proof that they love each other
That was a last-ditch attempt from Crowley to get Aziraphale to stay
This is the proof that they love each other
Their love wasn't just made real because they kissed
It always existed
a longing.
