Also Howl's Moving Castle and several classic lit fandoms, but I don't post about those here.

Martin loves the image of unreachable Jonathan Sims he built in his mind and writes poetry about. He loves the stoic, unsocial man whom he's certain has a soft, kind nature hidden underneath. He pitties Jon when he gets hurt. He winces when he sees his scars. He wants to protect him.

Martin also hates the thing that Jon has become. He hates the statements and how he regurgitates the horrors. He hates the parts of Jon that aren't human. Yet, he still encourages Jon to use these parts to destroy whom he deems as villains, and not always for the righteousness of it, but simply because Martin doesn't like them and Jon can.

Jonah Magnus loves the curious nature of the human called Jonathan Sims, but he doesn't really care for him.

He loves his Archivist. He sees the marks on his face, neck, and hand and finds them beautiful because every new scar is an addition to his priceless collection. He listens to every recorded statement. He follows the Archivist through the nightmares of other oeople and watches in pride and awe as Jon's logs in more and more fear, expanding into an endless archive of terror. He loves everything about him that isn't human.
