Guys I just realized something really interesting! You know the day Go 3 was released may 13 is also equal to 25 Dhu l-Qa'da and in Islamic calendar, that day is the day that THE EARTH WAS SPREAD OUT!
Makes sense if it was intentional! Cause in Good Omens universe that is also the day that the earth was born anew!

ah fuck, so sorry ma’am-
whoever said diamonds are a girl's best friend clearly has never met ibuprofen
Actually literally accurate. The song originates in the 1949 musical Gentlemen Prefer Blondes, while ibuprofen was invented in 1961.

good omens | sappho, fragment 147 (translated by anne carson)
Now it looks like we are not content with the ending but I think that "they" are.
That little normal life perhaps was all they ever wished for all along. It's what they pretended to have at intervals. Having food like humans, going to theatres like humans, building a home, getting attached, trying to "love" like humans. Finally.
Free will is a tricky thing for beings like angels and demons. You don't really get to choose. And they only got one last choice at the end.
And they didn't choose to go back to the way it was to start over again. I don't know why. Maybe the torments of heaven and hell had been too much to work through. Maybe they didn't know any other way of living without the roles that were imposed on them. Maybe cause they thought that "everything has an end"
I don't know but I can tell that their final wish was granted. To be able to "choose" each other every time.
cersei's chapters in affc are the most hysterical thing in the world because she'll be thinking something so homophobic about loras tyrell she's 2 synapses away from inventing the word "faggot" and then you turn the page and she's like:
taena breasted boobily in my direction. I wonder what it would be like to suck those massive perfect tits until they turn red and she screams my name in pleasure with that sexy accent of hers. I am a heterosexual.
GO hot take apparently
Imagine finding out you have 90 minutes to tie up a love story that's developed over thousands of years. You create something beautifully in character and completely on point for the plot. You pay homage to the original writer's legacy in a fitting and poetic way and create an ending that not only shows the depth of two people's love for each other but the wider love they have for the thing that brought them together in the first place.
And then you go online to find the loudest outcry is that everyone hates it and "THEY DIDN'T EVEN KISS!"
I feel sorry for people who didn't get anything out of that stunning finale.
“I CHOOSE JOY!” “I CHOOSE JOY!” i yell as i am sucked backwards into a wood chipper
Now it looks like we are not content with the ending but I think that "they" are.

The fact that some people might look down on this simple human life makes me a bit sad. As if it's not enough. As if it's not something magical and fantastic already. As if Aziraphale and Crowley didn't fight for it for 6000 thousand years! To find each other despite all the odds. To live together, explore the world together, die together. To choose each other every time. That seems to be the whole point doesn't it? Freedom to live and love. Even if it's a small life.
Behind the Scenes of Good Omens 3
The silliest thing I find about this whole "they only got 30 years together in the end with no memories of their shared history so what was the point" is that EVERYONE THINKS THEY ONLY MET EACH OTHER IN THIS ONE SINGULAR LIFETIME REALITY instead of my immediate thought that as its architects, Aziraphale and Crowley were wound so deep into the fabric of the new universe that there is a version of them finding each other and falling in love every single generation for billions and billions of years??????
A Roman version and a French Revolution version and a WWII version and ON AND ON AND ON AND ON AND---
For goodness sake the song that plays over this version of them finding and falling in love is "Time After Time"! THE IMPLICATION IS THAT THEY WILL ALWAYS FIND EACH OTHER!!!!!! ***ALWAYS*** IN EVERY LIFETIME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
