"You know when people say 'we haven't seen enough of you' they don't mean this," she pointed out, averting her gaze and looking around, trying to find something. She picked up a pair of pants before cringing. "Ew, who would wear bright yellow pants?" She quickly disregarded those and picked up a pair of jeans and brought them over. "You may be naked, but I refuse to let you wear those. They need to be burned."
"Well next time i borrow clothes i will be sure to check for style first," he joked at the young mikaelson. Though his relationship with the older Mikaeloson's was complicated, it was hard not to see the little ones as family, after watching them grow. He took the jeans she offered before chuckling. "Plus, there is more chance of me shredding those pants andmakign them disappear then most people," he joked.
🩸 — The nonchalant way Enzo turned his head, the slow return to eye the other with an unreadable expression... It was no secret he debated a full disengage; carrying on his merry way. He couldn't be bothered to distinguish whether this was a washing line of opportunity, or if the stranger had left them there purposefully. Another pause, one last moment of contemplation, before the vampire finally made his way over—offering his aid. "You're not exactly my type." The clothing tossed the others way without further comment.
"Species or gender?" He shot back teasingly. Not that he really needed or wanted the answer, it just felt like the kind of relaxed joke he would have made in the past. He moved to grab the clothes and pull them on before stepping out and looking over the other's soulder towards the cirt. "Home sweet home," he commented with some level of sarcasm.
Hayley turned around as he got himself changed and only when she heard him walk into the open, she turned to face him again. It felt more awkward than she'd thought it would. The two were married and now it just felt like two strangers happening upon one another. "Right. Yeah, that makes sense." She nodded. The silence hung in the air between them. She was so unsure of what to say. Did she still love him? Of course. But it all felt too late. "I'm sorry about what happened."
"Is she safe?" He asked. The dark magic that Summer had been messing with, they both knew better than to think accidents couldn't happen, or Luna wouldn't get hurt. He was worried about their daughter. Jackson frowned slightly at her words. "Pretty sure it's not your fault that a young witch made a mistake."
Summer nodded her head as she turned her back to the man, letting him have some privacy as he dressed himself. "Yes, I'm looking for her. Is she around?" She asked him, not having seen the other girl yet. Truly, Luna was the only person that Summer would even come here for, she didn't really like the Bayou, it was too woodsy.
"Got to admit, I'm not sure," he said, he had called her, told her he was coming back, but where she was now, he didn't know. "How are you?" He asked alittle pointedly. dark magic. Magical storms. It was not stuff that went away overnight.
"Were you trying to get away from the crowds as well?" She questioned; it was part of the reason she had wandered away from the town. "It's a lot quieter out here."
"Yes, in that I have been, outside for the last few months. Not alot of crowds out there."
♊ — Ajay Parker had found himself in numerous precarious positions over the years, some more unique than troubling, and when he came across an apparently nude man, he wished he could say that was the weirdest he'd ever seen. Still, it definitely took the cake today. "... Do you want me to give you mine or...? I don't exactly carry an extra pair on me."
"Glad to know people are stilll funny," he said sarcastically, given the full moon was every night it should make sense to the other what was happening here. They didn't live in hiding anymore, any of the species. "Over there," he pointed, towards some spare pants on a line that he knew would have been left out by one of their own."
Danielle had been trying to enjoy the fair but it was beginning to be a bit much for her. She needed some air to try and clear her head. As she passed by a tree, she looked over to who called out. She glanced around to see if she could spot any clothes in the vicinity. She noticed an outfit that seemed to be strewn across the ground and picked up the pair of pants. "Here you go. Are you okay?"
"Yeah, no. I'm good," he said, as he reached for the clothes and quickly pulled them on before stepping out from behind the tree to see the face in front of her. "Was just... going for a run," he said.
After spending some time at the fair, Hayley was heading back to the house to check on Andre when she heard the voice. That voice that she knew all too well. Debating on pretending that she didn't hear him, she walked over, handing him the pants from the clothes line. "Here you go."
Jackson had hoped he could make it back into the city to see his kids without having to come face to face with Hayley, but it seemed like life was not that kind to him. But either way, he waited as she fetched the pants and he wouldn't pulled them on before stepping out into the clearing. He wish he knew what to say, it wasn't like they had ended poorly and he would even say he still loved her, but each time he thought of the child she had had... such a short time after they broke up. It felt a little bitter. "Luna called," he said instead, which was true. "She was worried about her girlfriend."
Well, this is not what she expected. Although she had lived among the supernatural for years, some things were still not easy wrapping her head around. It was as her entire froze when she heard the familiar voice, Jackson Kenner "Pants, right" Still not moving. Camille shook her head "Right! Where are they?" She asked after a few minutes.
Jackson pointed in the direction that he could see the clothes before waiting for Cami to collect them for him. He liked her. Even if just on the basic, of them being connected to the Mikaelson's but on the outside and not the inside. "Thanks," he said. "Probably shouldnt' go looking for my kids without clothes. Pretty sure they don't need me embassing them."
Elena looked over at Jackson. Her smile only grew. "Thank you. She's been an angel from day one. I'm starting to wonder if I should be concerned." She chuckled. "Are you enjoying the festival?"
"Well I think wea re all concerned about our kids," he chuckled, though it was up to her if she thought it was more to that. It wasn't really a casual converstion comment. "Honestly just came back into town to see my kids," he said. He hadn't really thought about the festival. "They are a little older," he said, motioning to her little one.
Bonnie jumped, a few of the Christmas lights sparking out in response to her. "Shit. You scared the hell out of me," she said when she calmed down, realizing it was a friendly face. She looked around a moment before grabbing some from a pile of clothes for sale and tossing them in Jackson's direction. "You could always go streaking through the festival."
"Sorry," he said, nodding thanks as she throw him the clothes. "I'll consider that for next time," he joked, as he pulled the clothes. Though honestly after so long, the clothes felt odd on his skin. Though many it was the skin itself that felt weird.
Summer was looking for Luna when she came across her dad instead. Looking around for a moment, she picked up the pants from the ground that seemed to have been scattered and threw them towards Jackson. "There you go." She said, looking away from him.
"Summer," he said, when he spotted the other. At least that could cover the first thing on his list when it came to his daughter. He pulled on the clothes and then stepped out to face here. "you here to see Luna?"
🩸 — The vampire slowly turned. It was an explainable sight, considering the perpetual full moon. That said, he hardly made a point to befriend random wolves. Nothing against them, of course, aside from the hallucinogenic venom. "Pants?" he parroted, briefly looking around. "'Fraid I'm fresh out, mate."
"Washing line," he said, motioning to the line a little further away from them both. "Unless you enjoy the company of naked people."
Elena had been bedridden since Rosie was born. Her birth had been more traumatic thanks to all of the chaos that Elena had been dealing with. It was one of the first times she felt strong enough to leave the house and she was pushing Rosie around town looking at the lights and decorations. "Look at all the pretty lights, baby." She gushed, turning Rosie's stroller so she could see them better. @btiesstarters
He looked at the baby and his thoughts went to Hayley and the child she had had, that he knew was not hers. "Cute kid," he said.
Jackson had made his way back to the Bayou on foot... or paw. It was outside the city when he heard the Christmas music and the crowd that he stopped, noting that his stash of clothes had been moved. He turned back into his human form and called out to someone as they walked by. "You might handing me some pants." @btiesstarters
