when ppl criticized Smoke and Annie’s intimate scene as unromantic due to the position, I thought it was funny bc it was choreographed/ reminiscent of the scene in scenes from a marriage to me. In scenes from a marriage, the couple is also experiencing a marriage separation but love each other
