it's crazy to me that people will say "when i said my opinion, a bunch people told me that my opinion was incorrect and that I was being a moron and a bit of an asshole. this hurt my feelings so much. we need to put an end to this kind of toxic dog piling." and will somehow think they're standing up for free discourse and against oversensitivity when actually they're calling for free discourse to be stiffled because free discourse hurts their feelings.

if someone says that what you said was racist or w/e, that's not a violation of your free speech, that's an expression of their free speech. free speech obviously includes the right to say when you think someone is being racist.
