Transitioning from Plastic: Toiletries Right now, this is every beauty/care product I use that lives in plastic. And I will use each of them until they are empty. I think it’s important to remember to use up what you have that is not “zero waste”. I have already switched over to a safety razor (the kind where you change the blades) and a wonderful shampoo bar from @bestowedessentials . My conditioner will probably be the next product that needs replaced, and I will keep y’all updated with what I replace it with! Today, I challenge you to put together all of the products in plastic that you use on your body, and see what the next is that will run out, and find a zero waste replacement for it!
Haul from the Baywood-Los Osos Farmers Market! 🍐 It’s funny how I had to decline a plastic bag from every vendor. But I noticed so many people using reusable bags & baskets, some even bringing their own bottles for the juice vendor! I picked up a beautiful leek, broccoli, kale, fennel, Italian parsley, tomatoes, and pears I love winter produce!
