"Life Is Getting Busier"
I know I'm super late to the party. I was supposed to post this last week, but life decided to throw me into an endless loop of busy-ness.
So, here it is. Basil is giving the artist a cozy blanket after a marathon session of character-making and, you guessed it, working.
She's been around the block a few times and totally gets why the artist's exhausted. Honestly, Basil gets it too. And that fluffy stuff the artist's sprawled out on? Yep, that's Basil's tail.
“But Martha was distracted with much serving, and she approached Him and said, “Lord, do You not care that my sister has left me to serve alone? Therefore tell her to help me.””
Luke 10:40 NKJV
A New Chapter Into A New Year”
As we embark on a new chapter in the year ahead, I'm pleased to share a refreshed perspective. The accompanying image, featuring a book marked 2026, signifies a transition from the past year.
Although 2025 presented its challenges, I'm focused on embracing new beginnings while balancing various responsibilities, prioritizing my faith, and revitalizing my hobbies.
Notably, the color scheme reflects February's theme of love.
As scripture reminds us:
"Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new."
II Corinthians 5:17 NKJV.
Happy new year to everyone

Severus Imagines
You and Severus have been married for two years now and you have a beautiful, healthy baby girl whom you named Serena Abigail Snape. Severus volunteered to look after your daughter while you run out to do some errands. And Bellatrix and Narcissa came by for a visit and saw that he had a little one to look after.
In this version, everyone gets along. No Voldemort
Severus was sitting down reading his newspaper while glancing over every now and then at his beautiful daughter that he just put down for a nap. Bellatrix and Narcissa came by. Of course he wasn’t in the mood, but he decided to not be rude and let them in.
He offered Narcissa wine as he too took a small sip as Bellatrix was looking around as he was talking to Narcissa. He spoke. 'Bellatrix put that down we shouldn’t touch anything that is not… ours'. Bellatrix shrugged and puts the object back on the mantle piece and she spots a crib. She looks in it, then looks back at Severus with wide eyes and said. 'This is your baby?!' Severus rolled his eyes and calmly said. 'Yes.'
Narcissa took a peek and she saw that indeed there was a newborn child in the crib. She looked at Severus and asked. 'Who is the mother?' He said with a calm tone as usual. 'My wife, (Y/N)'. Both Bellatrix and Narcissa looked at him in surprise. Bellatrix said. 'May I…?' Severus immediately said. 'No. You may not hold her.' Narcissa laughed as she said. 'Lucius felt the same way when I had Draco. He would not allow anyone or even so much as Bellatrix to hold him.' Bellatrix said. 'Well I’ll be… You didn’t mention that you’re married.' Severus replied. That is why they call it, "private life". Just then, (Y/N) arrived with groceries with her house elves And was shocked to see that they have visitors.
Narcissa asked. 'You must be Mrs. Snape. It is a pleasure to meet you. May I ask, what is your daughter’s name?' Y/N replied. 'Her name is Serena. Serena Abigail Snape'.
Severus smiled, hearing his daughter’s name from his wife’s lips. He looked at her and said. 'That is her name. Her middle name was picked out in honor of her godmother who sacrificed herself to save (Y/N)’s life.' They looked back down at his beautiful baby girl as Bellatrix and Narcissa looked down at the both of them, smiling. (Y/N) was putting away her groceries as Narcissa and Bellatrix went over to her and said. Let’s help you with those. (Y/N) smiled as she said. 'I would happily be obliged.'
Severus looked over at his wife, then looked back at his beautiful daughter as he holds her in her arms before giving her a kiss on the forehead.

“Unlocking Our Inner Strength in Christ”
Many of us find inspiration in the iconic superheroes of DC Comics, including the "Thriving Three" - Superman, Batman, and Wonder Woman. These legendary characters possess remarkable abilities, from superhuman strength and flight to exceptional intellect and combat skills.
And let’s not forget about Marvel superheroes who are the “Avengers“ Such as Iron Man, Captain America, Hawkeye, Black Widow, Thor, Nick Fury and lastly, the Hulk.
But what about us? What are our unique strengths? Can we make a meaningful impact? The answer is a resounding yes. We can be empowered by our faith and the Holy Spirit to achieve great things.
As Acts 2:4 reminds us, "And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance."
In Christ, we can discover our distinct gifts, whether it's possessing knowledge, inner strength, or healing abilities. However, the most vital strength in Christianity is faith. When we believe, we can overcome incredible obstacles. So, let's tap into our faith and unlock our full potential in Christ.
“Butter”
I know it’s been a while since I drew something, and I truly appreciate your patience. Life has been incredibly fulfilling since getting married, and I’ve been working diligently, but I’m now making time for creativity again. So thank you for bearing with me.
This is Butter, the twin of Biscuits. Just like her brother, she too takes the form of an adorable American Cocker Spaniel. Her mother is Oreo the Merle colored cocker spaniel and her father is Calcifer, the tricolored cavalier, King Charles spaniel.
As you can see in this picture, this is how she looks in color and how she got her name. She embodies the kindness and helpfulness of her mother, and her twin brother takes after his father’s qualities.
If I were to ever have this for a birthday for wedding cake for anniversary, I would happily eat it all
"Busy, busy, busy"
It has been a while since I drew these little bundles of joy. But as you can see, Barnabas, Judah and Romy's son has now gotten bigger. He is only a year old and so is his twin sister, Bumbi.
He's already gotten his horns and his gills. I mean, talk about a growth spurt! As I mentioned before, Chimeras do not stop growing until they are three years old. In other words, they will grow to be a size of a T-Rex.
I guess that's what I get for creating a canine chimera. If you want to know what breed they take form of since they are canine chimeras, they are both Bernese mountain dogs.
As you can see here, Barnabas and the artist are very tired after a long day of work.
“Judah”
In color
This is what Judah looks like in living color and full body, since he's one of the original four Chimeras. He's a German Shepherd doppelganger. The story behind his name? He was named after my family dog, who was around when I was born. I've heard great things about Judah, but never got to meet him in person.
Here, Judah may look like a tough guy, but he's a total softie. Legend has it, if you treat them right and train them, they'll fight to the death to protect their humans. And, fun fact, they can live up to 8000 years and are roughly the size of a T-Rex. But don't freak out, they shrink down to their dog size when they enter your house.
“Riding Into The New Year”
In Color
In vibrant color and unwavering faith, I wish you all a blessed and joyous new year! I’m filled with anticipation, eagerly awaiting the incredible plans God has in store for each and every one of us.
As we embark on this fresh journey, many are already taking the first steps towards fulfilling their New Year’s resolutions. I’m committed to pursuing mine with dedication and passion, and I extend my warmest wishes to you all for a successful and uplifting new year, whether or not you’ve made specific resolutions. Sometimes, positive transformations unfold naturally, and we’re blessed to experience growth without even realizing it.
In this beautiful sketch, the artist is poignantly depicted riding on Judah into the new year of 2025, symbolizing hope, renewal, and unwavering trust in God’s guidance.
Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new.
II Corinthians 5:17 NKJV
