Please excuse the random guitar strums in the bg, it wasn’t audible in the original format. I recorded this and sent it to my sister when I was living in Michigan and she was in Hawaii because I missed her and how we used to sing together. She sent me a song in exchange.

I was so sad when I realized I had lost the recording she sent me when I fell through the ice on the Grand River later that year and ruined my phone. So I wanted to post this to the internet as a way to preserve a memory that still brings me comfort and makes me feel less lonely.

this was a favorite Disney song of mine when I was a kid (though I obvs don’t remember it that well anymore lol) and, as I’m still binge-searching Good Omens fanart, the song couldn't help but make me think of a poor pining demon who spent 6,000 years-or-so believing he may never feel heaven’s light again.
