Alright, precious babies. Tomorrow is debate day. Meaning we could potentially be dealing with a whole heap of awful. Rather than focusing on that, though, we’re going to be having a chat!!! We thought it would be nifty to have chat rooms open every once in a while for people to get together and chat it out. It’s on a nifty lil site we found, called Chatzy. In order to get in, you have to get an invite, so if it’s something you’d be interested in, please message us your email address! The chat will likely be starting around an hour before the debate (times below) and will likely be going on, most of the day.

I ship SQ because we need to see a NORMAL, loving same gender relationship on TV. Not one that is used for laughs or the butt of stupid jokes. OUAT is in the unique position to show people that same gender love is just that...love. Putting Regina and Emma in a romantic relationship raising Henry would show that parents don't have to be a man and woman to make a happy, NORMAL loving family where the child thrives. WE NEED SQ to be canon to prove that love isn't about gender.

Guys we cannot express how excited we are by this, it's so amazing to see people supporting us already! Not to mention it's great to truly see how passionate SWEN are about spreading love and positivity.
Now we know a lot of people are worried about Sunday's debate (we are too, honestly) so we've decided to try a twitter trend during it, to show support for all the members of SWEN who are there fighting the good fight. We know it's short notice but we'd love if as many people as possible could get involved, we don't know what Sunday will bring but it would be great if we could do something positive with it.
On that note: - to any SQers at Fairytale Con. There should be someone around on the blog pretty much all day Sunday. If you need us, we're here. Or even anyone not at the Con on the recieving end of any hate - please feel free to come talk to us. We're here to help you guys.

Welcome to SWEN Saves!
Hello, precious Swen flowers! You’re probably wondering what this is, all up in your tags. Well. Let us tell you. This ain’t just your average blog. This is a collaborative love-based project we’ve decided to start to help spread some love and good feelies within this beautiful fandom of ours.
We know life as a slash shipper can totally suck, and recent events in fandom have done nothing to improve that. So, we’re here to offer you a safe place to share all the warm fuzzies you get from being in SWEN, and to add to those you already feel.
What this blog is for:
Share your story. What SQ or SWEN means to you and why. We want this to be as open to interpretation as possible. Have a fancy interpretive dance that properly expresses your love of this fandom? POST THAT SHIT. Wanna write a Haiku? DO IT. Feel like writing a song and posting it on here? LITERALLY ALWAYS WELCOME. We want this to be a beautiful, safe, positive place for people to come and spread some love around, in any way they see fit.
If spreading that love means calling out someone extra special, feel free to nominate someone you see fit for our “SWEN Saves Special Snowflake Shoutout” and tell everyone how rad that person is.
Rather than just being tolerated, it’s time to be celebrated. Celebrate yourselves and each other and join in on this revolution of love.
In creating this safe space, we also acknowledge that sometimes, ya need ta let stuff out or need advice on things. We’re open to that stuff, too. Anon will always be open, so there’s no pressure.
We hope this blog will be able to help y'all in some way or another, and that through it we might be able to make SWEN an even happier and love filled place.
