hello, welcome to this side blog
I've muted notifs for this blog because I don't have it in me to fight on the internet, if you see something concerning go ahead and dm me. once again- fuck off with anti immigration or anti Palestinian rhetoric, we aren't free until we're all free
I'm making this to give my main blog a break from the pretty constant posting about antisemitism, but at the same time it's not something I want to stop talking about.
I'm a reform jew from the US, and I post mainly from that perspective. I finished my conversation in the beginning of '24 and had been studying for about 2 years previous.
I'm a leftist, or certainly was one before the war began, and have felt super disconnected seeing how easy antisemitism invaded spaces that used to feel safe for me.
about israel:
i hate Netanyahu, I don't think he's good for israel and I don't think he's good for Palestine. Palestinians are absolutely indigenous to the Levant and deserve freedom, dignity and the right to self determination. Palestinians have suffered horrible mistreatment for decades at the hands of the Israeli government.
all of that is true, at the same time the following is; for the first time in history jews have a safe place to go. after millennia of persecution, there is one state, in the whole world that will accept Jews and that is something worth protecting
