I’m on sick leave this week so I decided to be mindful and make myself this royal breakfast. It’s got a wonderful omelette made with eggs from my neighbour, home grown tomatoes, spicy guac and a bit of arugula, ate that with garlic naan, it was divine. As dessert I had strawberries and raspberries with Greek yoghurt.

I ate the whole thing sitting on my balcony, looking over the meadow behind the houses o bc my street with horses running around it. It’s sunny and there’s a lovely breeze. Sometimes I forget that that’s what life is about. I go to work, I spend my time in the “real world” and then I wonder why I feel so empty. It’s because I don’t have time to do this. And I need this, because now my day looks so much different.
