You may have noticed a lot of Kaeloo/Pretty ship art in the showās tag recently. Iām here to warn you all that this is a trap. None of these people actually believe that this ship would work, or think theyāre actually cute together. At first it seems as if theyāre just trying to piss off fans.
If you look at the posts it will make sense. One of them only started posting this āshipā after a fight with the Discord server. (I am not in the server but have heard about the drama from friends.) Another āfanā posted their ship art after four years of inactivity in this fandom and specifically wrote in the tags that they were only doing it for drama. These pathetic people are just trying to make real fans angry by shipping the most hated character in the fandom with the protagonist of the series.
Now, for the really important part! These idiots just created a sock account called @/kretty-kretin to reblog their art and artificially inflate the notes on it. As tempting as it is to make fun of them for having nothing better to do with their lives, DO NOT engage with this account unless you have a VPN. One of the members involved has some kind of IP grabber and has been posting peopleās IP addresses and the town that they live in online. I have a VPN that makes me, a Californian, look like Iām somewhere in the Midwest so I was able to scroll through it with no consequences for myself. Remember, these are not real fans of the series - all their recent work has been things that are made specifically to irritate fans, like NSFW of the characters and art of Kaeloo with Pretty. If you feel infuriated just remind yourself that itās all fake, they donāt believe in it either, and theyāre creating sock accounts to artificially inflate their like counts. Randomness Unlimited is too nice to go after them publicly, but the rest of the fandom is not.
