๐เง the second you let go of โwhenโ, itโs done
when you decide your shift is yours, but still hold onto the when and how, like needing it to happen at night, needing to fall asleep and wake up in your dr, you end up condensing your entire shift into that one moment.
youโre unknowingly turning it into an event youโre waiting for.
but the moment you let go of controlling the how and when, everything opens up.
your shift is no longer tied to night time, no longer dependent on a specific method or moment. itโs not something that has to happen later, itโs something that already exists and can be realised at any time.
and thatโs what removes the waiting.
youโre not counting down the hours until night, youโre not relying on a specific window for it to โworkโ.
you just know itโs inevitable. you know itโs already yours.
and from that place, every moment becomes equally valid for your shift.
thatโs why the easiest stance is always to accept itโs yours and let go.
because the moment you do, your shift stops being confined to one moment, and becomes something present across every moment.
