Sure, Orion had seen Catalina dance before, but not in such a professional setting, where a hush settled over the audience, the spotlight rightfully on her as the music lulled the audience into mesmerized stares. Her spins, the way her dance perfectly matched up with her accompaniment, and just the general flow of the whole performance felt like she was making magic to watch. Orion was one of the first people up on his feet once the spotlight lowered and the music ended, clapping enthusiastically, even if she would never see him. Feeling proud of his friend, he was practically bouncing on the balls of his feet on the way out of the busy auditorium, keeping a hold of Thomas’s hand not to lose him in the crowd. He had to keep reminding himself he was in public and thus everything he was doing might reflect on Thomas, so he slowed himself in the lobby, leaning into Thomas’s ear to point out the florist set up specifically for giving bouquets to the performers.

After picking up six red roses and six white, he angled around the mingling crowd until he went to the back near the exists, slipping an attendant a little tip and asking that he go and tell Ms. Catalina Lopez that she had fans that desperately wanted to meet her. It wasn’t a lie, just a bit of a twist, so she could be surprised when she saw them standing there. Lingering by Thomas, he looked around when the door opened and when he caught Cat’s eye, he gave her a playful wink before smiling wide.

Tonight have felt so good; it was the end of her first week of performances as the featured soloist and Cat couldn’t stop smiling through all of it. It was the next part of what she wanted to be doing but there were still things to do to get here. She had stood on stage for the encore grinning widely at the adoration with the rest of the company around her. That being said, she was grateful to be back stage and in her room to wind down. There would be some meet and greets but she loved that especially the young dancers so excited to meet her.

She had gotten her pointe shoes off and put her slippers on and was sitting at the vanity, smiling at the pic of her and Teo, and him, Jamie and Nick, and starting to remove some of the jewelry when she heard a knock at the the adjoining door and one of the attendants came back to her. “Miss Cat, there are some fans who wanted to meet you but not in line but I think you want to see them.” She chuckled and nodded. “That’s okay, I have a little time, thank you.” Cat got up and went to the main door of her room and opened it up. FOr a moment she was surprised and then made a sound nearly a squeal as she wrapped her arms around Orion, hugging him tight. “Oh my gosh you two!” she laughed and got tears in her eyes as she let Ori go and leaned over to the tallest of the three of them. “Thomas.” She was in complete shock as she leaned back and beckoned them inside. “Why didn’t you tell me you were coming?” @switchorionchang @thomassylvester

A new friend of mine pointed out that I should probably do some sort of introduction and put myself out there a bit more. I’m Dexter. I’m an unclaimed sub and a reporter at the local paper. You might have seen me around campus because I’m working the campus beat right now. I write about the sports and clubs. I have two children, twins. Hello there! Meeting new people can be daunting at times but you never know what great new person you can meet when you do that too. Nice to meet you Dexter, I’m Catalina, a Switch student on campus. If you want any details on the fandom, or book club let me know. Im also part of the glee club and cheer squad too. Oh twins, what a handful that must be as well. Have you been in town long?

I could see the Ravenclaw thing. I’m glad Charlie is on your list - he’s basically the fictional version of me except like, British and works with dragons. Good girl. Not speaking up hurts everyone involved. Maybe this weekend sometime? Unless you’ll be busy with the thing in town at Pop’s.

Thank you Sir, I think it suits me greatly as a house. I think Charlie is very underrated and if he is you minus those things then that definitely isn’t a bad thing at all. Appreciate that. One should definitely speak up in cases like that. That sounds good. We could always combine things too Sir.

Me and Arch are back together and working on gettin a trial claim goin’. Trying to be more confident in my domminess. Yeah lots of new people, anyone catchin’ ya eye?

PM: That makes sense, I feel the same way with that too. Makes sense. Good I’m glad to hear that too. And you and Arch, that’s great, you know I’m always rooting for you two in that. If there anything that I can do to help or you need you only have to ask, you know that right? Very true, hmm a couple, too early to tell with things but we’ll see.

I definitely think you might be onto something, Miss! Well, Picnic’s gotta have watermelon and good potato salad and something meaty! Kebabs, maybe? And picnic sports are more like games, frisbee, bocce, catch….and of course sex in the sun.

I’m glad you think so Buck. I think a decent watermelon could be found and I can certainly whip up a killer batch of potato salad too. I’m a burger person but oh yeah kebabs would be good. ah good, bocce I’ve not played, I think but the others are definitely good especially that last one. we absolutely should do this don’t’ you think?

Damn, the Whyte Wyrm is something else and I gotta say, it is the best hang out spot in town. This school is kinda like, I don’t need friends here, I got my own in town.

Heard about that but haven’t been, what’s so great about it? Nothing wrong with have friends in both places though either you know.

Appreciate it, gorgeous. I mean, I don’t mind watching them - I just never got super into them. Now Harry Potter - I’m a die hard Gryffindor and proud of it. I’m like the missing Weasley child with this hair. That makes sense. Shibari and bondage take a lot of trust. Oh agreed. Maybe we should see where they overlap the most.

PM: Oh, well that makes sense too. You don’t sub for many and you need someone who knows you. Well I’m glad you did it and if she wasn’t impressed then that is their loss. How is your headspace now? I’m really glad you did it even though it was awkward for you too. But I can definitely understand being glad it as done too. How are things now? Lotta changes, things around here, new people, it can be a lot.
