Ever get that feeling you’ve been a hermit for so long you’re gonna walk outside and everything’s gonna be weird and disorienting? I’m not having that experience exactly but my phone’s been broken and having a means of connecting to the world again is kind of… enlightening.

I was at the bar last night, having a drink on my own because why not? I just needed one drink when a guy was flirting with me. So nice, so charming, but when he started to sign ‘Copacabana’ and asked me if I was a showgirl as soon as I told him my name I left the bar. Cabronazo.

Tampa may be awash with more traffic than charm, but anyone who says that it lacks character has clearly never been down to the Riverwalk. 

It’s no Afton Villa Gardens, but it’ll do for a quick bit of serenity.

Once the weather settles and we head into fall, the traffic should calm down a little. Just a little. I agree though, I’m all about serenity... most of the time.
