I’m disappointed in all the other Doms who say they support sub rights but refuse to go to the rally on the grounds that it “isn’t your place.” Sub rights are human rights, and by being present at the rally you’re saying that you’re not just saying that standing with the Submissives who are making their voices heard. 

I’m not saying you have to be the ones shouting in the street, but by segregating yourself like this you’re only contributing to the problem. There are Dominants out there who are gonna look at this rally as something that’s not their problem, and who are gonna dismiss it because of it. They’re gonna say it’s not important. And it’s sad to think that it’s gonna take a Dom presence at a rally to “legitimize” it in the eyes of those Dominants, but that’s the way the world works. I wish it wasn’t the case but people do actually think like that. 

It’s the responsibility of the privileged to recognize the struggles of the disadvantaged, and do everything they can to change things. Women never would have gotten the vote if it weren’t for men in power convincing other men that women deserved it. Gay marriage never would have been legalized if not for straight allies standing with us. This is no different.

For any students without any activities tomorrow afternoon, at 2PM I’ll be visiting the Orlando Gun Club shooting range.  If you’ve never tried your hand at target shooting, I encourage you to come along and learn.  They will have an introductory shooting course set for both pistols and rifles.

Currently, I have room to bring up to 5 others who would like to try their hand at shooting.  So please, let me know if you’d like to join!
