Kind of a low-profile and discrete flashlight for your rifle. It does attach via picatinny rails and output is only about 140 lumens. Lasermax does describe the color of the light as a “mint” green LED. MSRP is about $220. Overall it looks like it blends in with most rifle’s and their lines without giving the appearance of a zip-tied Maglite. (GRH)

PG-13 Deadpool movie

Quick summary for those of you who might not have read about it: this woman has a petition going to clean up the Deadpool movie until it can be rated PG-13 in honor of this eight year old boy who likes the comics and wants to see the movie.

Everyone is extremely upset but you can calm down; it’s going to remain R-rated. Everyone working on the movie and most of the fans fought really hard for an R rating, the studio absolutely didn’t want to do it, and so now no matter how many signatures a petition gets it won’t matter because there was a much bigger campaign to get an R rating.

I feel bad for this eight year old boy because his picture has been shown and now he’s always going to be known as the pathetic kid that wanted to ruin the Deadpool movie.

No, I don’t have kids and I know I had an “alternative” upbringing that included letting me watch anything I wanted at any age, but I don’t see the big deal. Why can’t you let your eight year old watch an R-rated movie? Unless the gore is going to give him nightmares there really shouldn’t be anything to protect him from. Have a conversation with your kid about why violence and certain language is not allowed in the real world, explain what a metaphor is, talk about how mutants represent marginalized people and how violence relates to their experience, talk about what ableism is and the violent consequences of it.

If this is about sex and nudity you need to realize this kid has already seen much worse on the internet than they could ever put in an R-rated movie.
