So, bc it's the spoopy month... How do our Rebels celebrate Halloween?
I would think that Ezra would pitch the idea of decorating for Halloween. Because he remembers always celebrating the holiday with his parents, he would want to celebrate it with his new Space Family.
He also gave Kanan puppy eyes when he begged for him to go with the idea. Hera was immediately all for it along with Sabine. Because we all know how Sabine wouldn't miss the chance of decorating everything in spooky decor.
Zeb helps Ezra with carving jack-o'-lanterns and lighting them up. He thought it was a waste of time at first, but then came to the realization that he actually enjoyed the activity.
Sabine took it upon herself to make the decorations instead of buying pre-made ones. She even painted Chopper with metallic black and orange paint.
Kanan and Hera would then set up the decorations within the Ghost and also around the base with Wedge and Mart who were eager to add some festive appeal to brighten everyone's mood.
Once everything was set up, it's safe to say that Ezra was practically beaming like a little kid in a toy store. His smile nearly made Kanan cry because let's face it. How many times do you see a child genuinely smile like that in a galaxy that's bombarded with war and death around every corner?
To top it all off, everyone dressed up in costumes, which were made by Hera and Mon Mothma. Mostly they were dressed as classic mythological/folklore monsters, with Kanan being a Vampire. Ezra found and wore Kanan's old padawan robes, which may or may not have nearly given the poor man a panic attack from the rush of memories.
Mon Mothma also had everyone take a group holo-picture as a memento for everyone in case those who leave for missions never come back, or as a reminder that they were all family and everything they did was for freedom against the tyranny of the Empire once the war ended.
