As I wrapped up my rewatch of Star Wars: Rebels last week, I figured I'd offer a collection of the various micros I've made over the years (including a couple I just threw together a couple days ago) of the show's original heroes. The good, the questionable, the borderline insane, all Rebels!

The final product of my silly little Rebels queer alignment chart. Thank you every one who voted! Things I learned: My specific people I interact with apparently really like Maul and Kallus as they both had significantly more votes than any other character over the past 2 months. Haha
Second take away, I think it is so funny to see what characters ended up in the same category as each other, Like Maul, Saw and Chopper all in the same category, amazing.

On its own, this episode is a great depiction of the formation of the Alliance to Restore the Republic. But with the context of Andor's third arc, this episode has become an amazing finale to that storyline. The episode is the converging point of both Rebels and Andor.
It definitely is funny to see the shift of tone between the gritty drama of Andor and the pulp fiction classic SW vibe of Rebels. But I love Rebels, and the variety of tones in Star Wars shows is important. Personally, Rebels is my favorite Star Wars show, and Andor is my second favorite Star Wars show. Both shows are great companion stories to each other.
Erskin's presence in the show has a lot more weight, knowing how much Andor expanded on his character. I hope he survives to be in the NR Era. I would love to see him alongside Sinjir Rath Velus and Sondiv Sella working to help Mon Mothma in the NR Era.
Grand Admiral Thrawn should know not to trust Pryce and Konstantine with capturing Mon Mothma.
Mothma's lines to Hera really hold even more weight after seeing Andor, especially after Andor shows the Ghorman Massacre and Mothma's open act of defiance against the Emperor. She tried her best to do good within the system from all the way back in Mask of Fear, but she realized, like Bail, the entire system is rigged, and Palpatine has long since stepped away from playing the political game.
The Archeon pass looks so beautiful.
The TIE Defender really represents what the Empire's TIE Fighters could've been had they focused on quality over quantity.
Hera's ideas of how she shook off the TIE Defender and damaged the two ISDs are one of the prime examples of why she became a General in the Rebel Alliance.
Mothma's speech at the end of the episode is the perfect call to arms for all the rebel cells to form the Rebel Alliance. I wonder if the Mon Cala cruiser could be Home One. It's also a great capper to her entire character journey from ROTS to Rebels.
"This is Senator Mon Mothma. I've been called a traitor for speaking out against a corrupt Galactic Senate, a Senate manipulated by the sinister tactics of the Emperor. For too long, I've watched the heavy hand of the Empire strangle our liberties, stifling our freedoms in the name of ensuring our safety. No longer. Despite Imperial threats, despite the Emperor himself, I have no fear as I take new action. For I am not alone. Beginning today, we stand together as allies. I hereby resign from the Senate to fight for you. Not from the distant halls of politics, but from the front lines.
