This is long overdue, especially since Hazbin Hotel season 2 came out back in October, so time for some V siblings lore.

Part 1: The TV Twins (Vance and Vaeda)
Vance Whittman and Vaeda Marie Whittman (Yes, those are their full names) were born in 1920 in Virginia to Vincent Whittman (Vox, I will address him as Vincent in this part) and their mother (let’s call her Mrs. Whittman for now, or simply Vance and Vaeda’s mom, since I don’t have much lore for her rn). The twins never got to know their mother as she ended up dying from complications after childbirth a few weeks after Vance and Vaeda were born, thus leaving Vincent to raise them all by himself, and he was determined to be a better parent than his father was (will get to that in a future post).
When they were born, Vance inherited Vincent’s heterochromia. When Vance was 3 years old, he had showed signs of and was diagnosed with ADHD and the twins got diagnosed with epilepsy when they were 4 years old. Vincent was understanding of their medical issues as he had also showed signs at that same age (again, will get into that in a future post). They were both also born and raised in a Caucasian household.
Growing up, Vincent was a loving and doting father to Vance and Vaeda. He accommodated to the twins’ every need and even got a job at a TV station to provide for them. By the time the twins were in first grade, they were both already at a genius level, and Vance was even hella gifted despite his ADHD. Extended family and relatives wouldn’t stop yapping about them and Vincent got jealous (he tried not to show it for Vance and Vaeda’s sakes).
The twins didn’t know that Vincent was killing co-workers that he deemed as a threat until they were a bit older. They didn’t question how Vincent randomly got promotion after promotion at work or how he randomly got pay increase after pay increase. When they were kids/teenagers, Vincent also coached the twins on what to say if the police questioned him about the killings, as he would often be considered a main suspect for each killing.
The twins graduated high school top of their class, with Vaeda graduating valedictorian and Vance graduating salutatorian and getting full ride scholarships to any Ivy League school they wanted to go to. The twins ended up going to Cornell University with Vaeda majoring in naval engineering while Vance majored in naval architecture. Them going to prestigious Ivy League schools increased Vincent’s envy and jealousy towards them, hell, he even had dreamed of going to Cornell himself.
Vincent felt like he had been in the twins’ shadow and felt like they took everything from him. Despite the fact that Vance and Vaeda would often write to him and visit him when they could while in college, he thinks they’re gonna leave him behind and thinks they’re gonna replace and surpass him. Vance and Vaeda found it hella ironic because he wanted them to live better lives than he did (like any other parent) but when they did, he was jealous of them instead of being proud of them.
Vaeda ended up graduating college summa cum laude and got her degree in naval engineering while Vance graduated magna cum laude and got his degree in naval architecture. Post-graduation, they were on top of the world, Vance ended up pursuing a career in marine design while Vaeda pursued a career in marine engineering. By the 1940s, Vance was already running an educational series about marine design while Vaeda was running a series of documentaries about marine engineering (they both put their careers on hold after the U.S. entered WWII).
By the late 1940s, they were at the peak of their career (they began their careers in 1946) and they were working at the same TV station Vincent was in. Vaeda was working on her second documentary and Vance was working on the second season of his educational series by the time their deaths occurred.
In 1948, Vance ended up falling victim to Vincent’s killings. Basically, Vincent messed with the set of Vance’s educational series, resulting in Vance dying from electrocution after he stepped on one of the wires that was tampered with by Vincent (Vance was 28). Vaeda also was the one who found his body and started connecting all the dots and realized Vincent was most likely responsible since he killed his own co-workers and even discovered he was gonna kill the owner of the TV network and was forming a cult.
Thus, she reported Vincent to the police for all the killings that took place and the cult. Vincent was arrested and taken in for questioning and being the charismatic guy he was, was let go without any charges. Vincent was hella pissed when he learned it was his own daughter who ratted him out to the cops, and because she not only ratted him out, and was also gonna be the new owner of the TV network soon (as I think Robert (one Vincent’s victims) would have originally planned to give the network to Vaeda), he ended up planning her murder.
Around a few months later that same year, Vincent lured Vaeda to a river, claiming he wanted to have some father daughter bonding time, basically having a picnic, fish together, and catch up. Things were going fine at first, they were eating, fishing, laughing, typical father daughter bonding. That was until Vincent approached her with a knife when Vaeda caught a fish and was about to show it to him and that was when things took a dark turn. Vincent ended up stabbing his own daughter to death and later drowning her after Vaeda tried to escape, thus, Vaeda died from blood loss and drowning at the age of 28.
(Now in this part, I’ll refer to Vincent (Human Vox) as Vox)
When they arrived in Hell, Vance and Vaeda reincarnated as shark demons, with Vaeda having more shark attributes while Vance had more TV attributes. Their sins was basically Vance and Vaeda “enabling” and “covering up” Vox’s crimes, and Vaeda’s additional sin was “turning on her own family” (basically when Vaeda reported Vox to the police).
During their time in Hell, they end up meeting the Radio twins (Anastasia and Ambrose) and they begin a friendship with them. After a year of being friends, Vaeda and Anastasia started dating while Vance began dating Ambrose and they began their path to healing.
But the path to healing would be cut short a while after Vox arriving in Hell after he died in the early 1950’s and their souls eventually being owned by him when he became an Overlord. Vance and Vaeda even saw Vox dying and arriving in Hell as karma. At first, Vox apologized for killing them and he looked like he had remorse, and was even going to approve their relationships with the Radio twins. But after Vox got rejected by Alastor and Alastor disapproved of the TV and Radio twins’ relationships, that’s when Vox disapproved the relationships and revealed his true colors to Vance and Vaeda.
Vox often went on about how he lived in Vance and Vaeda’s shadow, claiming how they made every family gathering about them, accusing Vance of tricking him into treating his ADHD and the twins of tricking them into treating their epilepsy and claimed the doctors were lying, taking his anger out on them, etc. He even forced them into becoming heirs to VoxTek and working on products for VoxTek and even overworked them and rarely gave them any credit for the products, he also even forced them to be heirs to VoxTek. This resulted in Vance and Vaeda seeing Baxter as a father figure, along with Angel Dust when he and Valentino came into the story.
Part 2: The Moth Twins (Vaughn and Valentina)
Vaughn and Valentina were born in 1943 in Florida to Valentino and their unknown mother. Their mother wasn’t really in the picture when they were growing up and thus, it was just them and Valentino. Vaughn and Valentina are also both of Puerto Rican descent and Vaughn is Black Hispanic while Valentina was White Hispanic. Both are also transgender (FTM for Vaughn and MTF for Valentina).
They both grew up in a mafia household, thus, they lived a lavish lifestyle and were often surrounded by fellow mafia members. Valentino was also never home and was often out doing criminal activity and they had to mostly raise themselves. They even inherited Valentino’s art skills and Vaughn had dreams of becoming an artist while Valentina had dreams of becoming an actress.
When Vaughn and Valentina came out to Valentino as transgender as teenagers, Valentino promised them the best gender affirming care money could buy when they were older. The condition was that they entered mafia training, thus, they gave in, since they were only teenagers (minors at the time) and Valentino was going to pay for HRT and their surgeries.
They hoped for freedom when they turned 18, but they ended up becoming part of the mob their family was in a few months after their 18th birthday. For the first few months of being in the mob, they both started out with drug and weapon dealing, but later transitioned to killing. After each twin’s first kill, they were both left traumatized and they couldn’t take it anymore.
As a result, they both ran away from home a week after their 19th birthday and went to California by train with $25,000 in cash. For the first couple months, they turned to prostitution just so they could survive. They eventually decided to get back on their feet and live a better life after being on the streets for over a year. Thus, Vaughn enrolled in art school while Valentina enrolled in drama school.
Vaughn and Valentina’s path to healing began when they were in college. They both began transitioning and getting gender affirming care when they were 21. They both finished with their surgeries and their transitions when they were 24.
After college, Vaughn ended up becoming an artist after a gallery discovered him while the twins were in college and selling and displaying his art at gallery shows. Valentina ended up becoming a well known actress after a scout discovered her at a play she was in during college. They both even moved in a luxury apartment complex and even planned on writing a book together.
By the late 1960’s, they were promoting their book (which would be released a year after their death), and things would go downhill when Valentino tracked them down.
Basically, when Valentino saw that the twins were thriving, happy without him, away from the mafia lifestyle, and were gonna publish a book soon about their mafia upbringing and their path to healing, he was pissed AF, cuz hey, it’s Valentino, since he’s a giant piss baby lol.
Thus, one night (the year was 1969), Valentino went into their apartment complex and set the building on fire. Vaughn and Valentina were making their way out with other residents when the building was about to collapse and Valentina threw herself onto Vaughn and used her body as a shield, resulting in both of them getting killed. The twins were only 26 years old. Valentino was hella happy when he learned the twins never made it out and basically stole all of the money they made over the years.
A year after their death (1970) would be when the book would be released and published, the book being titled “Shadows and Light”. The book would also have a dedication page to honor Vaughn and Valentina.
The Moth twins reincarnated as moth demons, and their sins were basically Gluttony (their days of drug and weapon dealing), Wrath (the murder they each committed), and Lust (them turning to prostitution just to survive). They both managed to keep copies of drafts of their book, even the final copy. They both began figuring out what to do now since they were back at square one but tried to continue their path to healing.
Their path to healing went down the drain when Valentino arrived in Hell after he died in the 1970’s. Their souls ended up being owned by him and they ended up going back to him since things needed to pick back up again. They also ended up falling victim to Valentino’s abuse and they both fell victim to his tantrums and outbursts and were forced to star in Valentino’s films and become heirs to his studio.
The abuse got so bad to the point where they ended up seeing Angel Dust as a father and uncle figure, they even started calling him “Uncle Angel” or “Uncle Anthony” and they both met the TV twins (Vance and Vaeda) and that’s when the V siblings began forming. The 4 of them also saw Venus as a mother figure when she joined the Vees after she arrived in Hell after dying in 1989.
Part 3: The Doll Twins (Vincent and Vanessa)
Vincent and Vanessa were born in 1998 in the UK, specifically in London to Vera (will refer to Velvette as Vera, I will change it if we get Velvette’s confirmed real name, if her real name is confirmed to be Vera, I won’t change it) and their father. Vera had the twins when she was only 19 and the twins never knew their dad. Vincent is also transgender (FTM).
The twins both grew up in luxury and lived a lavish lifestyle but Vera was hardly home to raise them or spend time with them. They were often left with nannies and spoiled rotten with luxuries. The only times Vera would be around them is when they competed in beauty pageants or did child modeling.
Things would eventually change during the 2000’s when the twins were just 6 years old. One day, Vera left the twins with their usual nanny and told them she was going on a brand trip and will be back in a week. After a week, the twins kept waiting and the nanny stayed with them just in case.
After a month, they believed that Vera was dead as she was already presumed dead by the police. Thus, the twins ended up being put in their father’s care and that’s when things went downhill.
Like how they used to when they were in Vera, they still competed in beauty pageants and still did modeling. But all the money they made, their dad kept to himself, not even setting aside a trust fund or college fund for them.
As teenagers, Vincent discovered that he was transgender. Vanessa was the first person he told and she supported him. He also told his father later and his father surprisingly supported him, he even planned to get Vincent the best gender affirming care money could buy. During adolescence and early adult life was when things went downhill.
By the time they were finally legal, Stockholm Syndrome kicked in and they ended up in dangerous territory, especially Vincent. He basically ended up being sexually assaulted by another agent, who was full of power. He tried to report it but nothing was done about it, he tried to tell his father, anybody, but no one believed him. The only person who believed him was Vanessa. As a result, Vincent ended up turning to drugs as a way to cope.
Unfortunately, Vincent ended up becoming an addict and ended up pushing Vanessa away when she tried to help him. He was often in and out of rehab, often in and out of jail and getting multiple DUI’s under his belt. He would be sober for a couple weeks and then relapse.
As for Vanessa, she ended up deciding to open an account on a certain… questionable app (ifykyk). The fans immediately didn’t react well and Vanessa got lots of backlash, despite her already being over 18 at the time. This also was a terrible mistake as she ended up seeing older guys, who were also agents with power.
This ended up resulting in Vincent and Vanessa constantly getting into arguments, claiming what one is doing is worse than what the other is doing, despite what they’re both doing is just as bad. Things went downhill from there as a result.
By the late 2010’s, Vincent and Vanessa were at their lowest point. The fights between them went from verbal to physical. And after one extreme fight, Vanessa ended up moving out, this was a few days after the twins turned 20 years old.
In 2018, a few weeks after the twins’ 20th birthday, one of the neighbors called the police requesting a welfare check for Vincent’s apartment. When the police came, Vincent was found dead in his room, it would later turn out that Vincent’s death was caused by an OD.
When Vanessa found out about Vincent’s death, she hit rock bottom. Things were already made worse because she was already dealing with a lot of scandals regarding that account she was running on that questionable app (ifykyk) and then later, she was assaulted the same way Vincent was by one of the older men she was seeing.
Because of all the controversies she was going through and how police wouldn’t do anything about her SA report or Vincent’s, Vanessa couldn’t take it anymore and decided to self-exit (ifykyk) a few months later. Vanessa was only 20 years old.
(Will be addressing Vera (Human Velvette) as Velvette)
The twins ended up reincarnating in Hell as doll demons. Their sins were Pride and Envy (because of their upbringing), and one additional sin for each twin for the (🐬) they pulled (Gluttony for Vincent and Lust for Vanessa). After they reunited, they apologized to each other and made amends and promised they’d be there for each other.
They also reunited with Velvette and they learned that Velvette died from a failed plastic surgery that she was getting during her brand trip. Velvette also owned the twins’ souls since they are her kids. They had hoped to begin a path of healing and spend time of their mom while they were in Hell, but sadly, they never got that.
Velvette thought that they had owed her and blamed them for “taking away her youth” and “ruining her body”. She even went on about how hard it was to raise them all by herself, despite the fact that she often left them with nannies. Thus, she forced them to model for her department and become heirs to her department. The twins also fell victim to Velvette’s short temper, as Velvette would often tear them down and scream at them.
The emotional abuse got so bad that Carmilla Carmine ended up taking them under her wing and acted like a mother figure and mentor to them. The twins also began to see Zestial as a father figure and they would often meet for tea. They also saw Angel Dust as another father figure.
Velvette even tried to set up dates with them, but Vincent and Vanessa didn’t like any of the people Velvette set them up with. Thus, Vincent began dating Armaros (FNF) and Vanessa began dating Alucard (Castlevania), Vanessa and Alucard’s relationship started out as long distance and they both connected over their SA trauma.
They were also the final addition to the V siblings and also Venus as another mother figure when they met her. The V siblings also called themselves V6 as a group nickname (Vance, Vaughn, Vincent, Vaeda, Valentina, Vanessa) and have thought about forming a drag group with Ambrose and Anastasia once they got out of the Vees’ clutches.

The Vees ended up making a family vlog channel on VoxTube named “Vee Visions” and other social media accounts with the same name. Their platforms often starred the Vees themselves, Venus, and the V siblings. Their content mainly consisted of day in the life vlogs and behind the scenes content. The V siblings also had to take Vox’s last name just for the family image and Venus had to use Whittman as a second last name. Here are the V siblings and Venus’s full names at the time in case you’re wondering (I’ll include the TV twins too even though I already revealed their full names):
Vaeda: Vaeda Marie Whittman
Valentina: Valentina Whittman
Vincent: Vincent Whittman II (since Vox’s full name is Vincent Whittman)
Vanessa: Vanessa Rose Whittman
Venus: Vittoria Rose Callas-Whittman
People in Hell saw them as wholesome and were referred to as “Hell’s Greatest Family” and wouldn’t shut up about how the Vees were such great parents and how they didn’t know how the Vees would do it. But behind closed doors, things were not what they seemed, the Vees often took their anger out on the kids and Venus. They even kept the money that they, Venus, and the V siblings made off of Vee Visions, not even leaving a trust fund for the V siblings or letting Venus have a penny.
When the abuse got really bad, Venus had enough, she terminated the V siblings’ contracts and she decided to own the V siblings’ souls now for protection. She also decided to leave the Vees and ended up taking the V siblings.
Part 5: The Path to Healing
After Venus and the V siblings got away from the Vees’ clutches, the V siblings, and Anastasia came up with the idea to start a drag group. Venus was on board and came up with the name “AV Masquerade”, and they absolutely loved the idea as AV meant “audio + visual”. Ambrose decided to also join so the group doesn’t lose their (🐬).
The V siblings and Radio twins began going all out, brainstorming drag names, creating outfits, styling wigs, etc. Here are the drag names in case you’re wondering:
Anastasia: Bambi Belladonna
Ambrose: Maestro Monochrome
Vanessa: Primadonna Plush
Venus also became AV Masquerade’s manager. Unlike the Vees, Venus supported them and even let the kids keep the money they earned. Venus even kept the money she made from managing the group.
The group would often perform songs from musicals (Ride The Cyclone, Moulin Rouge, Chicago, Les Mis, Falsettos, Mamma Mia, etc.) and regular music (K-Pop, Marina, Melanie Martinez, ABBA, music from various decades, etc.). Things were on the up and up and still are on the up on up.
Outside of performing, they called themselves the AV’s as a group nickname since they saw themselves as chosen family, even though the Radio twins were dating the TV twins. The V siblings are also working on trying to get a documentary out to share their story about what they went through. They also decided to drop “Whittman” and use Venus’s last name, and these would be their new (and current) full names:
Vaeda: Vaeda Marie Callas
Valentina: Valentina Callas
Vanessa: Vanessa Rose Callas
Part 6: Where they are now
As of now and the events of Crossover Mayhem, the V siblings are doing well. The V siblings are still doing drag with the Radio Twins. Venus is now remarried to Malware and the siblings see them as their real parents. Sakura is also their step-sister and they see her as their baby sister and often act like bodyguards and step in if Malware or Venus aren’t available and someone’s messing her.
As for the Vees, they’re trying to get the V siblings back and often mess with Malware because they can’t bear the fact that Venus moved on. They also owe the kids $2.9 million in child support and Venus filed a restraining order on them. The V siblings are no longer speaking to them and they address them by their first names, not “Mom,” “Dad,” “Aunt,” “Uncle,” none of that.
Bonus: Some fun facts about the V siblings
The TV Twins (Vance and Vaeda):
They often tell people deez nuts jokes.
They often say shower thoughts to each other.
They can communicate with sea creatures.
They love techno music (specifically Charli XCX).
They have eels as ESAs (Emotional Support Animals), Vance has one named Static while Vaeda has one named Current.
Vaughn and Valentina would teach them Spanish. They can speak it but they’re a bit rusty at speaking the language.
The Moth Twins (Vaughn and Valentina):
Vaughn is gay while Valentina is a lesbian.
Alongside being trans, they’re also agender.
They’re the only few people Angel Dust allows to call him Anthony.
They’re both fluent in English and Spanish.
They act like the mom of the siblings.
They love watching telenovelas together.
They love Latin pop, reggaeton, and Tejano (especially Selena Quintanilla).
They hate when Vox stereotypes Hispanic people, it’s their biggest pet peeve.
They have a dog and cat for ESAs. Vaughn has an ESA dog named Reina while Valentina has an ESA cat named Princess.
Vaughn’s biggest pet peeve is when anyone, Vox included, uses the N word (ifykyk).
The twins have a copy of their book.
The Doll Twins (Vincent and Vanessa:
They’re both genderfluid.
They love K-Pop, anime, J-pop, and K-drama.
They’re both fluent in English, Korean, and Japanese.
They both love Dance Moms.
They love pop music (Melanie Martinez, MARINA, Mitski, etc.)
They love Sanrio (My Melody and Kuromi are their favorites).
They have a whole collection of Squishmallows.
They have ESA bunnies, Vincent’s bunny is named Cinnamon while Vanessa’s bunny is named Sugarplum.
Vanessa was often called Nessarose as a nickname growing up (a little Easter egg from Wicked since Velvette’s VA did star in the Broadway version). Nowadays, she’s called either “Nessa” or just “Ness” as a nickname.
Vincent is often called “Vinny” as a nickname both when he was alive and nowadays.
Vanessa often pulls a Rumi when the siblings and Radio twins try to take a break.
