Oh, the woes of public Transportation, it never was fast enough when you needed it to be. Especially when one such as Nugget was running late.

How was she supposed to know that that one quick meeting was going to turn into an hour and a half long session of an unneeded conversation merry-go-round. Not only was it an annoying inconvenience, but it made her quite unpunctual to what she looked forward the most in her days. Dinner with her beloved. She would hate to keep him waiting longer than what she considered necessary, even if she did send a text to him explaining her tardiness.

At least the wait in the subway afforded her time to finally change from the heels she wore to work, to more safer and running friendly tennis shoes. Stuffing the former into her backpack, peeking a glance at the more casual attire she wished she was able to change into. Bu alas, business smart with tennis shoes that do not match would be how she will arrive at her Boyfriends place. Not Ideal but practical with the current situation.

With the announcement of her stop blasting through the speakers, she anxiously awaited by the doors. Once they slid open, she started running as fast as she could and bolted out of the subway station. Having walked these streets time and time again, it was quick and easy for her to arrive at Sanji’s apartment. Albeit slightly out of breath from her sprint. Knocking on his door as soon as she reached it.

No matter tired and sweaty she may be, or ever will be, once she saw her boyfriend standing in the door, she could not help but greet him with a smile and gaze at him with all the love she has for him clear in her blushing cheeks. Just the sight of him could wash away any fatigue she may feel.

Its great to see you again my love. Sorry for arriving late, you know how things at the office can get sometimes. But I am here now and I am more than ready to eat whatever you have prepared for us.”

This has been on my mind for long but I’m gonna do this - please reblog this if you’re comfortable with pre-establishing relationships. I do not mean “met at the grocery store two weeks ago” or “have a common friend”, but rather stuff like “have been best friends since kindergrden”, “go for a beer every friday”, “friends with benefits”, “dated in highschool”, “hate each other’s guts because -insert reason-” etc. Something meaningful (but not necessarily shippy) and I mean with muns/characters you have not interacted with, because I cannot believe I am the only one who prefers jumping right into the heart of the human interaction.
