Did they not say that the crystal gems are shape-shifters? That they can take on any form they wish? That their true form is the rocks that they have on their bodies?

Honestly if you think oppression is a bunch of lines in a children’s cartoon either you have the easiest damn life or you drank or ate something foul because if you think someone drawing a character in a different body type (let alone a SHAPE-SHIFTER) is on par with a felony then. And by this dumbfuck logic, all beginner artists are problematic shitlords because no matter where you are on the scale, you’re gonna fuck up. Beginner artists fuck up. Even the most seasoned artists is gonna fuck up. Some people have easier time drawing certain body types! Some people can grasp color easier than others! Of course they can improve in the future, but for now they gotta make due with the know-how they do have (which of course, will help them improve). And that’s okay.

Honestly, the steven universe fandom is the most toxic and disgusting fandom I’ve ever seen. It’s even worse than mlp, homestuck and superwholock combined.

throw a huge fit and send death threats over the term “gemtlemen”

nearly caused suicides over not conforming to personal headcanons

act like they are the purest fandom and complete paragons

I understand that it’s not everyone in the SU fandom is to blame but also realize that it’s not just a select few assholes this time.
