I'm not hating on anybody btw but a friend came to me about this and I figured I should say something, as someone who knows mark
There has been a lotttttt of borderline NSFW mark mothersbaugh x Danny Elfman lately and I just wanted to let everyone know (not in a hateful way!!) That mark isn't comfortable with it. Like, imagine if people we're drawing you and your friend making out, fucking, talking dirty, etc.? That's his position. I haven't said anything for a while because I thought it was satire (satirically shipping people is funny to me I get it) but I recently found out people are serious. I made a post previously about this when my gf told mark about it at lunch. She meant it lightheartedly to make us all laugh but he seemed reeealllyyy weirded out. He didn't giggle or anything. I'm sorry to those who may take offense to this post, I'm not calling you bad people AT ALL, but I feel like it's wrong of me not to say anything about it. It's not like im best friends with mark or anything, we obviously don't talk every day, but however, I AM working with him.

I'm all for doing what makes you happy, and MY GOD are you talented, but knowing how uncomfortable mark was, and I never see him uncomfortable like that, I felt I had to speak out
