Notes: I woke up one day last week and this beautifully painful episode of The Bear was just there waiting for me! I watched it and this idea for a story popped into my head. One thing The Bear got wrong for me is everyone’s age tho. I don’t want to know a man in his forties that acts like Richie Jerimovich and Michael Berzatto, so in my head they’re closer to mid-thirties in 2019 (and even that’s a stretch). Also, most of the dialog in this fic is taken straight from the episode Gary. Uh, it’s inspired by the episode and the song The End of Beginning by DJO. Listen to it while you read if you want. Enjoy! Also Mila Kunis was the closest I could find to what Jenna may look like. ✌🏼
