at this point it time, sunset doesn’t even know how she and cherry are surviving, with them away from the family for now, living in the ss nereid. it’s been been a week, and now they’re at greece. the situation they’re suddenly going through right now, it became a loophole for the older woman to not only discover herself, but the rest of the world whilst looking after cherry. she was just at the top deck right now, fumbling on her phone and looking through the photos she’s taken throughout their first week when she heard someone clear their throat. “fuck–i-sorry, i kind of zoned out.” @nereidhqstarters

When Sydney was working up on the deck today, a large party came up to celebrate something by the pool. They were mostly girls, giggling too loudly and screeching far too often for her taste. But, they were a great party who ordered a shit ton of drinks without a care in the world about price. Sydney made good money from them so it was all worth it. They left and she was now left with cleaning up their glasses everywhere. Her tray was full and it was pretty heavy but there was a passenger blocking her way through to the stairs to take the drinks away. “Excuse me.” She spoke politely, yet the other was so enthralled by their phone. Sydney cleared her throat this time to try once more. It worked. Sydney gave the other a polite and understanding smile. “No problem. I get lost in my phone half the time too.”

this was such a good idea, after so long of being shut away in new york, sam and charlotte were finally away from reality and able to just be. they didn’t have to live by strict rules or please anyone here. she and her runaway princess of a girlfriend could just enjoy life together. and sam was doing just that. laying out on the top deck next to the pool, she was working on a tan. with her eyes shut behind sunglasses, she felt someone walk up to her and block the sun. “unless you’re here to take my drink order, do you mind stepping out of the my sun?”

When Sydney’s shift had started, she was assigned to the top deck by the pool. That was fine with her, as of course the weather was great and even though they were docked, there were still plenty of people lounging by the pool. She took over for another and he pointed to some that had just arrived and he hadn’t been able to get to yet. The view was an amazing one from up here, but sometimes she thought the view of some of the passengers was just as nice. Sydney approached a brunette tanning and opened her mouth to take her order. Yet, she was beat to the punch and a smirk grew on her lips. “I actually am here to take your drink order. Can I get you anything?” She inquired but did not shift out of the way of the light just yet.
