I have named this child Alecto. Alecto thought he could get stat bonuses by consuming monster meat. He expected if he got any unpleasant mutations, they could be fixed with surgery, maybe some creative fashion choices. But he didn't expect to transform mentally as well, growing uneasy indoors and around people. Answering political and social rivalry with diplomacy and covert shenanigans became increasingly difficult as he felt like a cornered beast. Eventually he couldn't take it anymore and left his comfortable old life behind and joined the ranks of the monster slayers known as wild-eaters, or wilders.

Guess what. New character. This one ate a bunnicorn and gained its power: fencing with a hefty lance.

That's what this system is about: it's a postapocalyptic monster hunter world where human-monster hybrids use big ass weapons to kill kaiju.

This year I'm gonna start GMing my first ever full campaign. Sadly, tieflings on the continent of Tian Xia are typically of the riftmarked variety who look more like froglobstermen than succubi. But I'll give my players a helpful "hungerseed" NPC companion / GMPC they can seek out. This is Bohai. Bohai will loredump on the party and eat crits like they're cereal. When/if the players stop engaging with the plot, he can help ground them diegetically. He's also there to step up if a player can't make it and cancels last minute.

Bohai has wanderlust in his heart, perhaps due to the fact that he stands out so much in his hometown. His parents are the typical star-crossed lovers: of disparate peoples, they fled the disapproval of their families and the tyranny of the oni in their homeland of Chu Ye and settled down in a small village to raise a family.

The young hungerseed is a fresh champion of Kofusachi (a Buddha-like deity known for his easy-going nature, and also his sluttiness. oh, the sluttiness). At the very beginning of the campaign he makes a shocking discovery that leads him to pray to the Laughing God for guidance. In response, Kofusachi anoints him as his champion and bids him to aid the townsfolk and the heroes that would rise amongst them.

Last time on Blood Lords, ya girl failed like six or seven consecutive saving throws against ghoul fever. Luckily Uruni can pull off the look without issue. Her waist has never been this snatched.

-Don’t offer unwarranted critique.

-Take making NSFW comments on a case-by-case basis. What are other people saying? What does the artist typically seem to allow?

-Don’t use the art for your own purposes (rp, dnd campaigns, etc) even if they’re private and the artist “won’t know.”

AND I DO NOT WANT ANYTHING TO DO WITH AI.

That includes anyone using ANY of my content to train AI, or getting stories similar to mine... If you do any of that, I do think you are an awful person. I don't think there's any excuse. I believe in the power of creativity and on authors and artists and I want to encourage that.

PS: If I ever reblog AI art, please let me know so I can delete it. I'm not the most trained on recognizing it, but def want to know.

I'm testing Daggerheart today and you know what that means! New tief! This is Veizla, she went to assassin academy but she wasn't cold-hearted enough. Edit to add: She's orderborne infernis rogue.

Infernis can pay 2 stress to roll with hope instead of fear.

Orderborne has 3 principles and every time these principles apply to a given situation, your hope die is d20 instead of d12.

And nightwalker rogue can spend 3 hope to get +2 AC, teleport from shadow to shadow for free and adds sneak attack dice to dmg rolls, meaning they get 2 dmg dice before anyone else.

Which is to say I'm currently leading in dmg dealt by our party. >:3

Note from a graphic designer who has to fix this shit all day: rich black is prettier sure but for the love of the gods don’t use it for text if it’s going on newsprint. If its anything other than solid black it will bleed out and become unreadable.

Half my job is fixing this mistake all day from people who really really should know better. And now you know!

^exactly. Rich black is definitely better for graphics or large hits of black if you want it to be REALLY black and not look washed out. Especially if you’re printing in CMYK only (no spot colors), a rich black can really help tie your art together.
