There were obvious reasons why Theo would be checking up on the damage the Beast was doing around Beacon Hills. Even if he worked with the Dread Doctors, that didn’t mean he or his pack was safe from the thing. He wanted the Beast gone. Ideally, he wanted its power, but as of right then, he had no way to get it. So he would focus on just ridding of the thing. And as it seemed, a familiar face was assessing the damage as well. Frankly, he didn’t really want to deal with her right now, but figured it was inevitable. He wasn’t going to hide or leave because he had business here other than ruining Sydney’s life. “I’m not following you. Believe it or not, not everything is about you, Sydney. I have another reason for being here,” he said, pointing to the claw marks before crossing his arms over his chest.
To say that the whole thought of the beast, and the dread doctors didn’t scare Sydney would be a lie, why wouldn’t it scare her? However, she was trying her hardest to hide the worry that was probably vibrating off her in rolls. This was where she missed being in a pack, having the protection, but she’d never tell Theo that, she wouldn’t give him the satisfaction of knowing how much she was scared of all of this. Pushing her claws out from underneath her nail beds, she moved her hand to measure up the claws against her own. She visibly gulped upon seeing that it was larger than her and probably the rest of them by over a mile. “Nobody said everything is about me. Obviously we are both worried about this.” She gestured to the claws, her head turned, seeing the dead bodies littering the inside of the bus, and her nose crinkled at the amount of blood, and guts that were on show. “So, I guess we aren’t successes if they have to resort to an actual beast. I wonder if they plan on getting rid of us now, too.” She looked down for a moment, and her heart filled with worry about what would happen. “What are you going to do? Look, I know I’ve crossed you, and I know we aren’t friends anymore, but please be careful, the pack needs their alpha, and as much as we’ve argued, I don’t want you dead. The pack doesn’t stand a chance against this, nobody does, not unless you know it’s weaknesses.” She laughed for a moment to herself. “I’m actually thinking of leaving town, it’s the only chance at survival at this rate.”
