imo one of the reasons why the three amigos are so endearing is how loyal they are, but in their individual ways.

like rae seems quick to trust people, and even if she's only recently met someone, she will try her absolute best to treat them well. she's also quick to resolve anything that might place any tension on their friendship.

i don't think immediately trusting people is as inherent in syk's nature, but instead he makes a conscious, active decision to always approach others with kindness. he's so dedicated to seeing the best in people and giving them the benefit of the doubt, and he's also very clearly appreciative of those who offer him that same kindness.

between the three, toast seems the most careful about who he considers a friend. but once he learns more about someone and their general intentions, he becomes more obvious with his affection, often becoming protective and committed to their well-being.

and those sort of personality traits shine through when you see how the three amigos value and respect each other–

the way syk's help during the rflct drama opened rae's eyes, bc for once someone was actively looking out for her instead of her looking after everyone else. the way she looks up to toast, how his outright support and approval feels all the more valuable bc of how rare it is coming from him. the way both of these men make her laugh and feel good, but also the way they make her feel safe.

the way toast and rae both drew syk out of his shell by making him feel normal and human and not the "uwu shy anime boy" that others are so quick to point out. how rae treated him like a best friend from the beginning. how toast never babied him or doubted his competence. the way toast warmed up to him, proving the worth in staying kind. the way syk tends to prioritize these two over anyone else.

the way rae reached out to toast about the jimmy fallon stuff, how that single action earned toast's eternal respect. the way syk proved toast wrong, that yes, syk really is ~like that~ all the time. how toast feels a true, deep connection with syk bc of their near-identical backgrounds. how toast marvels at syk's clever intelligence, like it's in spite of his kindness. toast seeing the potential in his friends, wanting the best for them, pushing them farther and faster.

toast, syk, and rae really are fantastic for each other. they're strong individuals, but aside from the funny moments and their specific talents as entertainers, their loyalty to each other is what binds them as friends :>

NO SAME HERE they're in my top three otv+f duos bc yes they can be content machines together but also it's clear they have this mutual understanding and comfort and trust with one another that is rare in the streaming scene imo, and that shines through really beautifully in streams like this one.

tonight's password game stream with syd and toast was unexpectedly SOOO good. syd's chat/community continues to be super comfy and with the way syd and toast kept looking to chat for help it seriously felt like staying up and losing your mind with your friends. and the syd toast dynamic is still peak like they complement each other so incredibly well and it was so funny how when one of them was losing motivation, the other one would stay determined and take over the controls. like god this is just one of those streams that i know will stick with me for a while because it was That Good
