About: 

Lunafreya Nox Fleuret, Princess of the diminutive state of Tenebrae, born 4th September. The youngest Oracle in history, latest in a long line of daughters said to commune with the Gods and blessed with the power to heal the afflicted. Daughter to Queen Sylva Via Fleuret, younger sister to Ravus Nox Fleuret; betrothed by arrangement to the Lucian Prince, Noctis Lucis Caelum. She is rarely seen apart from her beloved dogs, Pryna and Umbra.

Luna is known and beloved across Eos, her compassion and dedication to helping others having earned her a place in the peoples’ hearts. She puts duty before self in all things, and while cordial and polite, is unwavering in her beliefs and relentless in her pursuit to protect those she serves.

She enjoys tea, stickers, and growing flowers; even going so far as to personally tend many of the sylleblossoms that grow in her homeland. Since their first meeting, Luna and Noctis have kept in correspondence by means of a book passed between them: and pressed carefully into the first page is her favourite flower, perfectly preserved after all these years.

I know I said I'd spend more time writing here and I will, and I know I said I wpnt focus on any blogs other than the main 2 with Luna as priority and I won't. I also know I won't do much of anything intensive over the next month as I hit an academically dense period. I'm just saying, I love my T.av and I want her as a muse.

The look Ignis gives Noct before breaking the news about Insomnia. The utter devestation, because he knows that this moment right here, this very second, is the very, very last of Noct's innocence. The pure no-thoughts-head-empty vibes when Noct asks what the look is for. The big, wide-eyed stare. He doesn't know this is the last time he'll ever be himself as he is again. Nobody touch me I'm going to scream.

As usual, the choice to do a clean xv run was the correct one. Definitely helping to kick the writer's block while I'm under the weather.

On the topic though, I do want to bring up the pocket edition and how it confirms what we already suspected; that Noctis uses the notebook to communicate with Luna way, way more than we see in-game. Iirc, it's also PE that confirms Noctis will wander off on his own to go find stickers and stuff to send back to her, rip the fellas just trying to keep track of him. When it comes to Luna, this man really does switch off all brain function I love him for that.

He dies and he dies and he dies again, and each time he returns angrier and more broken, shards splintering into more shards; each time there is less of him, too. Fewer memories, fewer feelings beyond the animalistic hatred for existence that consumed everything he still is.

When the warmth drags him out of the abyss, Sephiroth is still dying, or so he imagines. How else could a body contain so much pain and misery if it were not dying? He must be dying and that warmth is the warmth of his last and final death. So he sinks into that warmth, unaware that it is someone from his past trying to draw him back from the darkness.

How surprising it is when his mind resurfaces enough to allow him to hear her voice, the last voice he had ever thought he would hear, the last voice still clinging to a goodness that had died a lonely and sad and torturous death. He slips away again but he clings to her words without meaning to, holds on to them as a lifeline that can draw him back when he is ready.

His eyes are open, bright with the mako in his veins, and in their light there is the confusion of someone who has no idea where he is or how he has come to be there. The last thing he clearly recalls...

...Is her voice, telling him that he is good.

Because he has lived his life by pushing himself, he forces himself to sit up but he is weak and the world is unsteady around him, the walls and ceiling and floor twisting until Sephiroth has no idea which way is up or down.

It is surreal, almost, to be graced with the colour of his eyes. Tainted with Mako, but unmistakable nevertheless. To walk into this room and find it in any state other than painfully lonely. If she ever was, for a single second, wrong about him, now would be the time to find out. But so certain is she - because she has to be, because nothing makes sense if she was wrong about him - Lunafreya does not hesitate in dashing forward.

A firm but tender grip keeps him in place as she pads around for a spare pillow to prop him up with. ❝Easy,❞ coos her soft, accented voice as she perches on the edge of the bed. ❝Take it easy, now.❞

She tucks back a lock of hair from the braid she'd retied only yesterday, searching his features for any twitch, any contortion of pain. Hands move to hold his face, and though her bottom lip wobbles, she fights to keep her voice even.

❝You are safe. Of that, you have my word. But you have been through an ordeal. You need to rest.❞

She says his name and it's like a light goes on or a door opens and Sephiroth smiles, using his hold on her hand to tug her gently a little closer, close enough to embrace her.

"Hi, Lunafreya," he whispers in her ear, and it seems they've met again. "Are you still lost?" The recognition of her brings him a sense of relief he hadn't felt in...

He doesn't know how long. Time is always a strange thing to him, like something someone has made up and he only barely understands it. Mathematics, sciences, all of it over and beyond his head.

❝No,❞ she answers, calm and assured. With a cheerful hum, she swings their hands back and forth. He could well lead her to a volcano and she'd neither notice nor care.

But he'd never. Not Sephiroth. Of that, for reasons the child does not care to question, she is certain. She merely allows him to set the pace, taking the path they'd come before in reverse.

A leap of faith. But in what has Lunafreya placed her faith, exactly?

The view was haunting. She shall never forget it; the lifestream leagues beneath her feet, coming ever closer as she plunged into its depths. Seeking him out in this blind, grasping attempt to cling to something that she herself does not understand. From there, it all becomes fuzzy. Slivers of a conversation come to mind, but it feels jumbled somehow, like a disassembled puzzle.

Ah, but emerging - that she remembers clearly. Coughing and spluttering, a man easily twice her muscle mass and a whole head taller tucked beneath her arm. She'd struggled to pull him free, feeling frailer than she had in years. But he was far worse off; shallow breathing barely visible as he remained utterly unresponsive. She can remember every step with great clarity as she'd brought him here on chocoback, to this abandoned house. It's nice enough - plenty of nice places were abandoned after meteorfall, where people scrambled to join communities owing to resource scarcity.

She'd laid him peacefully on a bed, and there he has been since. Some days, Luna does nothing but sit at his side and talk, hoping a friendly voice might reach him. And sometimes she almost thinks she sees his eyelashes fluttering as if he were at last to wake - but no. It is her wishful imagination every time.

❝I knew it could not have been you,❞ she would tell him. ❝Please wake. Please - prove me right. You are good. You are the first good thing to come to me from beyond my borders. Do not take that from me.❞

Her pleas would meet naught but dead air until one day, she brings a fresh vase of flowers into the room; and upon seeing him, she drops it. The glass does not shatter, but the sound of it echoes far too loudly. For a moment, she is speechless. Her legs shake, and it is all she can do to put one foot in front of the other. ❝You are awake...❞

For the foreseeable future, I'm going to stick to a max of two muses, as that's all I have the spoons for. So Luna, obviously, and my boy @hcpefulmarshmalllow, my longest running and most beloved muse, view his carrd here, I promise he has more verses coming.

Unfortunately, Luna doesn't do nicknames. But under the right circumstances she might let a little pet name like "my dear" or "darling" slip because she's just like that.

She could call him anything at all and he would still follow her through every existence.
