So we got some new Lets Go information today from some just dropped trailers!

While Pokemon can still be ridden HMs are replaced by your starters Secret Techniques instead of Ride Pokemon. These Secret Techniques work similar to field moves from spin-off games and don’t take up a move slot!

Speaking of moves both Pikachu and Eevee now have new exclusive moves!

Pikachu’s new move is called Splishy Splash and appears to be a variant of Surf!

Eevee’s new moves appear to provide the same coverage as the original three Eeveelutions and are Bouncy Bubble (Water), Buzzy Buzz (Electric) and Sizzly Slide (Fire)! 

There is also a new mechanic called Partner Powers! Partner Powers are activated with the motion controls and appear to be a more powerful Thunderbolt (Pikachu), a more powerful Double Edge (Eevee) or a stat boost (any other Pokemon). It is unknown if they are only activated once a battle like Z-moves.

We saw Erika and her new model looks very nice!

Celadon City and the Gym look beautiful!
