       what’s this! young kaminari has presented him with paperwork— an autograph book, he says, but he’s seen enough of them to know better— and his gaze skims over the text quickly as he places a large hand by the line he’s meant to sign his name on. he’d expected it to be a joke, but when he sees it really is custody papers, he hesitates above the line.

       “hm.” the sound is firm, deep in his throat, and the teacher doesn’t look away from the papers. he feels his hand beginning to tremble, and he lets it rest gently on the table. his pen nearly touches the form.

       is now really the time for him to begin losing control of this form?
