I feel like people don't talk enough about the fact that Obito was gr0omed by Madara.

I mean, he was right? The definition of it is: Process of building a relationship to manipulate or prepare someone for a specific purpose. That's what happened. He took a kid and manipulated him his whole life, even after his death, for an specific purpose.

There is a scene where Obito asks Madara what he is to him during the war, or something along those lines too, if I'm not mistaken.

I do love the "Madara being Obito's dad" thing in fanfics and all -I love a good fix-it fic and happy AUs-, but people don't talk about what actually happened to Obito enough, or simply decide to overlook it.

Their relationship could be portrayed in such complex ways and I think it's very interesting, they have so much potential. I've seem someone compare them to Rapunzel and mother Gothel and it's just brilliant. I really need fics where their relationship is addressed as toxic as it is in the show dude.
