Hey kids, we are Synaptic, a female-fronted math rock-influenced emo band based out of Eugene, Oregon. I’d been searching a long time for more amazing emo bands fronted by women, and I could never find a band that quite fit the sound I was looking for. So I let that inspire me to write songs that fit the need for me. We fit a unique niche; I sing and play electric violin in place of a second guitar, and we draw instrumental influence from a variety of genres such as horror punk, post-punk, emo, grunge, and math rock. Give our stuff a listen! Our new EP is out for free on Bandcamp.

Lyrics: Careful now, I'm slipping
Rope burns always hurt Not long since I've gone missing I keep doing my worst It's hard to know you'll be okay When from the start you'll fail anyway You know, let it go My serotonin's running out When did I lose my sense of touch? Blood runs a little thicker now But no one ever said how much It's hard to know I'll be okay When from the start I'd fail anyway You know, let it go
