Arietta was walking around the school grounds with her friends Ein and Aerin when she spotted someone she hadn’t seen in the longest time.
“It’s Sync…have we seen him this past month you two?” She asked, the Liger and Hraesvelgr gesturing no. I wonder where he’s been…probably just skipping class. I really don’t understand why he entered this school if he doesn’t even try to go to class…not that Arietta could exactly talk. The only reason she didn’t go to class is because she usually gets lost on the way there.
Though they weren’t friends really, they were at least comrades so she thought she might as well go over and say hi as well as see how he’s been doing.
Though she really wondered if that was a good idea, knowing him he might either give her the silent treatment or say it’s none of her business. Nevertheless she went over to him, even hearing what he said about food.
“Uhm…Sync, if you want food…I think we can get some at the cafeteria.”
Or maybe a snack store, she didn’t know how this place worked and neither did her mun.
the god-general didn't expect to meet anyone he knew on his way to yulia knows where, not that he knew a lot of people in tancho to begin with. this was the reason for leaving his yellow mask behind, safely hidden in some obscure part of his room. there was really no need to hide his face; after all, only one person didn't know what was underneath the disguise, and to be honest, what were the chances that he'd bump into her --
-- was what sync thought, until he heard the familiar whine of the pinkette from behind him, causing the junior to freeze up on the spot.
really yulia, really?
“ the cafeteria. of course, why didn't I think of that? “ sync deadpanned, making sure not to turn around. instinctively, he shielded his face with a hand. why he didn't take his mask with him today, he didn't know.
that wasn't his best decision.

What a coincidence! Beat was having a very similar problem. But he had NO CASH. So he went about finding food in a very… unique way. On everyone’s way in and out of the dorm building, they had to pass by a certain corner. Beat’d noticed this and pulled a chair, bucket, and sign out to this corner.
Currently the boy sat in the chair backward, his arms thrown over the back of the chair with a bucket in front of him and a sign that said in large words.
FREESTYLE IT, YO WILL RAP FOR FOOD
“Man… This is stale, yo… I’m so damn hungry…”
Poor boy couldn’t even afford a new poster board.
unique was right. it wasn't always that the god-general encountered someone sitting near the entrance of the dormitories, bucket and all. though, at least in tancho, he didn't. not that this was a common sight in auldrant as well. still, sync he couldn't help but glance at the blonde on his way out, oddly silent, surveying the state he was at. curiosity overcame the junior, somewhat puzzled with the sign in display, the crude cardboard lain with the boy's intentions.
“ just rapping for food? couldn't you do anything other than that? “

Hatter is having the opposite problem, essentially. He’s currently sitting at a table set for 30 people, as the only guest in attendance.
And each seat has a full course meal sat out, and a full cup of tea.
“What a marvelous occasion this is! The marvelest occasion!”
When he looks up, he sees a student passing by looking rather famished. So he stands up, grins, waves his hands, and shouts:
“NO ROOM! NO ROOM! NO VACANCY!”
the screeching sound caught the god-general by surprise, prompting him to turn towards its source. to say that he could ignore what greeted his sight would be a tad difficult to do; the long table filled with food and the odd man sitting alone causing him to stop and gape --
of course, sync could disregard the man and be on his way but, unfortunately for him, he couldn't. he slowly comprehended the man's words, twisting his whole body to fully face the man, features fixed with his usual scowl.
“ YEAH? WELL IT'S NOT LIKE I WAS GOING TO ASK YOU FOR FO-- “
GROOOOWLLL!
-- dear yulia not now.

without meaning to, or even comprehending it, a whole month had passed sync by.
it was a miracle that he was never caught for being a truant, having lazed around the campus without so much as a second thought. not that he particularly cared for his classes, or any kind of human interaction. he shrugged ever so slightly, the realization taken into stride. the god-general was fine by himself, and, honestly, he would love keep it that way.
though that, of course, didn't include food. which he was now running low with.
a sigh escaped sync as he finally stood up, willing himself to at least go out to buy more, lest he wanted to starve. which he didn't want, because really, who wanted that anyway?
“ ...food, okay. now where should I go to buy some... “
well, there's one problem he needed to get through first.
i. so what now? | intro
It was that time again where he had to find some of his Vocaloid family members but not having any form of tracking on them proved to be challenging with such a big academy like Tancho. He wandered from hallway to hallway, hoping to catch some electrical interference that might indicate anyone was around but so far, he hasn’t caught wind of anyone other than Len or Gumi. He was hoping to talk to Luka or maybe even Meiko-nee or Kaito-nii.
Unable to dwell on the past, he began to head back to the music room to practice on his songs. After all, if he could squeeze in practice, perhaps manager-san would give him better songs than the ones his siblings have already made. Unfortunately for him, his task was postpone as he bumped into someone who had just stopped, only to blame him for not watching where he was going moments later.
“My apologizes. It won’t happen again.”
Of course not—Piko was probably never going to see this young man ever again and figured the other would just let it go.
sync half-hoped that blaming the - obviously - innocent stranger would somehow provoke him, prompting a fight or something equally similar between the two of them. it didn't come though, and instead, the boy apologized to the god-general, causing sync's irritated expression to fall, replaced with a sudden nonchalance that was familiar to him. whatever insult on the tip of his tongue had been dropped, as was the offense.
“ better not. “
and that was the end of that. with a halfhearted shrug, sync started to walk away. he had more important things to attend to... like looking for one troublesome pinkette. of course, it didn't occur to him that he had no idea where to look. walking would solve that, no problem... but in a big campus like tancho, he could very well find her in time for graduation!
it also didn't help that said pinkette got lost every so often. great. just great.
“ hey you. “ the god-general addressed the boy once more, head twisting in order to face the other. it didn't hurt to ask, even if sync didn't particularly want to. “ seen a girl with pink hair around? “
i. so what now? | intro
sync had been alive for quite a while now, spending his newly acquired body and time just outside of tancho's gates. his current situation was a total mystery to him... he was sure he died, perishing in the glorious land against luke and his group. so, finding himself breathing once again, along with arietta - of all people - well, his reaction was nothing to scoff aside. long story short, there had been quite the scene. thankfully though, he calmed down considerably since.
hours - probably, he wasn't sure at this point - came to pass and now, the young god-general found it too boring to remain outside any longer. his only source of entertainment - plucking individual plant stems, for some reason - felt suddenly ridiculous. arietta had gone ahead of him as well, entering the academy while he pointedly refused to accompany her a second time. their first trip, incidentally, was when they enrolled... which, considering the circumstance - two supposedly dead people brought back to life in modern japan, not that they even knew what japan was - well... it was probably admirable in its own right. how they even managed to accomplish it was a blur in his memory. but regardless --
he should really start looking for arietta soon.
or he would, after he finished berating the sorry sap of flesh that bumped into him a few steps within the academy. not that it was the stranger's fault, though in the god-general's one-track mind, it might as well be. sending the figure a scathing glare, sync couldn't help instantly chiding whoever it was.
" tch. watch where you're going! "
as friendly as ever, aren't we sync?

Selenia didn’t respond, but started to draw her rapier.
Even if she wasn’t the best fighter, she could hold her own against for a while. At least she hoped.
[ before you can even draw your weapon, or maybe by the time you already position yourself with that rapier in hand, sync's already moving; easily manoeuvring through the lack of obstacles in his path-- all to get to his target. though, he doesn't actually do anything other than zip through the air. ]
[ though that changes as he finds himself directly in front of the female, which the god-general then tries giving her a couple of punches, all directed to the gut. ]
quick-trigger started following you
The Major only gave a nod in reply at first, seeing no need to waste her breath on a reaffirming this statement with simple reply. His second comment was more interesting anyway.
“Have you now?” She asked with a quirked eyebrow. Then he might have more information about how things were going on in the world now, then… “Do you have much information as to how the world is fairing without the Score, then?”
[ there was a long paused on his part, the god-general thinking of the perfect word. and theeeeeeen-- ]
Chaotic.
[ experiencing a world without the score was something of a first for the young god-general, and while he didn't want to admit it, the lack of the score had somewhat brought him a little peace. the world, however, wasn't without it's cons and quite frankly, he enjoyed the many times he witnessed fights up and about all because of the missing link in those idiots lives. ]
@Sync
"And I'm not going to tell you." Selenia said firmly.
Running obviously wasn't an option, reasoning wasn't working, so maybe fighting was her only option.
[ like he had expected anything else-- ]
Heh. Then what? Plan on using that toy of yours on me?
