Now that I'm back home and have laptop access again, I'm doing my best to get the shop fully fixed & up to date as much as I can. Various things are currently a work in progress but it's still very much open and operational!

I'll be sending out an email soon going over what might be next for us, new products that'll be on the way soon, and new skirt designs (on cotton, done by hand by me!) to look forward to. Keep an eye out!

Calling it for the year and heading home. Time, money, summer heat, a string of bad luck, general physical deterioration, business concerns, and sheer exhaustion have won.

We hiked about 650 miles, saw a lot of amazing things, met a lot of wonderful people, and successfully lived in the woods for 3 months. It's been a wild ride and so different than I expected outside of the hiking and camping aspects.

With any luck, Candyman & I will return for another 2-3 month adventure next year and keep heading north from where we left the AT.

Hello everyone, no joke- so right after getting the sale set up earlier today while sitting at a diner for breakfast, my hiking partner's tent poles literally exploded 😭 like to shreds. Now we're very unexpectedly having to backtrack 30 miles to the nearest outfitter, and it's gonna mean also unexpectedly spending a lot of $$$ on a shuttle, big money on a new tent, somewhere to stay in town, a shuttle back to where we need to be to keep hiking, etc..
