MY ART MADE IT INTO THE CLIENT!!! HURUSHFAHSD))
Happy Valentine's Day Mr. Du Couteau~.
“Why thank you, Captain. To you as well. Please, my father is Mr. Du Couteau, just call me Talon.”
Fortune gave a laugh, a matronly bell-like noise, “Toasts are for high-society men and women. We’re pirates, we just drink.” She tilted her head bad, downing the whole thing. Being terribly tolerant to alcohol didn’t mean she couldn’t appreciate the taste, at least. It was quite fulfilling to have the good stuff every once in awhile.
“…Well, I’m a pirate. You’re under the servitude of a pirate. A pirate by proxy~.”
“Fair enough.” Talon has no problem disregarding that entire tradition and simply downs his glass. “So I’m a pirate now? Shouldn’t I be missing an eye or have a funny hat then?” He chuckles, leaning back where he sat and pulling one knee to his chest. “I suppose I can add this to my resume.”
She looked somewhat offended-- though it had the always-there feline pull of her lips to it. “Only the most accomplished of pirates get the privilege of wearing a hat like this.” She ran her fingers along the brim of her hat pridefully, “I wore a much less silly one for many years until I became big enough to have a feather. Feathers are prestigious.”

“You’ll find my motivations aren’t terribly complex.” She said, with the gentleness of a lover, “I admire power. I admire powerful men with purpose. So, I suppose yes, it is as simple as that we share a mutual enemy, and that you are a powerful man with a vendetta.”
“Fascinating.” Though the response is curt, there was no sarcasm in the single word that Zed spat out. After a moment of pretend consideration, he exhaled, finally acquiescing. “Your reasons are… Flattering and understandable, and the compensation more than fair. I only request that you explain every step of this in detail – I am a busy man, and if this is going to take up as much of my time as I assume it will, then I need to know the details far in advance.”
He paused.
“Who else have you contacted about this?”
“Of course. I didn’t bring my plans with me, but they can be retrieved easily enough if you find yourself uncomfortable with coming aboard the Syren.” Fortune said, “I have...touched bases, at the very least, with many groups and individuals-- few have borne fruit. You are one of three recruited to my cause. Only three.”
Happy Valentine's Day Mr. Du Couteau~.
“Why thank you, Captain. To you as well. Please, my father is Mr. Du Couteau, just call me Talon.”
Fortune settled herself down next to him, not terribly close, but not far away either. She bowed her head, setting the bottle down for a moment as she took her hat off and sat it down on the floor, running her hands through her hair to keep it away from her face as it fell away from being a braid, hanging free and loose. She turned her attention to the wine, then, popping the cork off it and offering it out to Talon first.
“Not always this expensive. As I said, I saved the good stuff for this special occasion.” She readjusted slightly, making sure her chest didn’t spill out of her top like it so threatened to almost all the time, “Not that I thought I’d be sharing it. Happy to be, of course, but surprised nonetheless~.”
“I’m flattered you see fit to share it with me.” Talon manages a brief flash of a smile, fleeting under his dark hair. He takes the offered glass and smells it before taking a sip. It’s smooth, musky and strong. He savors the slow burn in his chest and gives her a nod of approval. Lifting his glass, he feels like he should say something, a rarity for him, since he’s usually sparse on words to begin with. “To- I don’t know. I’ve not actually ever done a toast… scratch that. Let’s just drink.” Well. he tried, sort of.

“An alliance, hmm?”
The prospect was compelling, to say the least. Zed was always searching for more ways to gain power, especially when it came to meeting and working with the right people. To have one as famed as Captain Fortune on his side –
–Well, to say that it would aid in attaining his goals would be an understatement. And there was, of course, the added benefit of being able to finally rid the world of the vile, despicable, idiotic pirate–
Breathe.
Despite the fact that Zed had all but agreed to help, he simply stayed silent for a long moment, inspecting the redhead.
Finally, he spoke once more, lifting a hand into the air as he did so. “I have little interest in wealth, or riches, but you are right when you say your personal favour would be a useful asset for many. But I must ask – why me? Simply because I am a powerful man with a vendetta?”
“You’ll find my motivations aren’t terribly complex.” She said, with the gentleness of a lover, “I admire power. I admire powerful men with purpose. So, I suppose yes, it is as simple as that we share a mutual enemy, and that you are a powerful man with a vendetta.”

Gangplank.
Even the mere mention of the name sent a stab of rage through Zed’s mind, and he was unable to stop himself from taking a breath. Gods, he hated the man. A perfectly average human being with absolutely no training in Ionian martial arts – as far as Zed knew – and yet his crew had somehow managed to outsmart some of Zed’s disciples.
Zed. Zed, the Master of Shadows, one of the most feared warriors in Ionia, the man who destroyed the ancient Kinkou Order and slaughtered the great Lord Kusho, was the leader of an army that had been foiled by a pirate.
Granted, a pirate who had lead Bilgewater for years without a single true threat to his rule (until the oh-so-curious woman before him), but a mere pirate nonetheless.
Zed despised the man, and it was visible in every little movement he made, from the stiffening of his shoulders to the slowing of his breaths.
“To kill the man.” Zed finally responded, though it was not a question. “Why should I help you?”
There was no need to enter a deal without seeing how much the other party was willing to offer to gain his assistance.
“Revenge is a simple pleasure that I think most people deserve every now and then...” She shifted her weight onto one hip, smiling as pleasantly as she ever did, “Atop that, you’re welcome to whatever treasures you like from his trove once the man’s dead, and our partnership could continue on even past the completion of our goals~. The personal favor of Fortune will take you far in Bilgewater, and having someone with presence upon the sea could grant you unexpected advantages, should a situation ever arise.”
“Beyond that, I’d ask you to ask of me what you wish. I’m willing to pay a high price for your assistance, I assure you~.”
Happy Valentine's Day Mr. Du Couteau~.
“Why thank you, Captain. To you as well. Please, my father is Mr. Du Couteau, just call me Talon.”
Fortune exhaled softly, turning her gaze out over the sea and sky. They’d sailed out of Bilgewater to track a gang of pirates, and now that they had succeded in setting the whole business ablaze, it was oddly peaceful on the Syren. The wind had died off, and so they were sailing at a leisurely pace back to the city. It’d been a long trip, the sun was setting now.
It was pretty. The warm twilight of it. Fortune didn’t usually like to think herself sentimental about it. “We can drink out here until the stars come out, hmm? All work and no play makes Talon a dull boy~.”
She didn’t wait to hear his opinion on the matter before heading in to her quarters to retrieve the bottle of wine she’d mentioned. She wasn’t kidding about the celebratory part– it was certainly finely aged. A Noxus vintage, likely one of the many imports she’d come across in a port town like Bilgewater.
“Talon is and has been a dull boy for a long time.” He remarks with a wry look, nodding in agreement to her proposal. “That sounds nice.” Pushing himself up onto a crate as he waits for her return. The wine is a bit of a surprise, though of course she’d have expensive tastes like that. He still quirks a brow, offering her a sort of acknowledging look. “Quite the taste you have.” He says quietly, patting the space next to him. The boat rocks and creaks, waves lapping rhythmically. That in combination with the heady, oceanic air makes him feel hazy, almost sleepy against the fading light.
Fortune settled herself down next to him, not terribly close, but not far away either. She bowed her head, setting the bottle down for a moment as she took her hat off and sat it down on the floor, running her hands through her hair to keep it away from her face as it fell away from being a braid, hanging free and loose. ((OOC:
Hello, this blog is pretty much complete. Complete enough to start rping anyway.
This is my first time rping as a canon character in any fandom so hopefully I will do Graves some justice. Anyway, since I have no connections in this fandom I would appreciate if you could reblog or like this is you’re in the League of Legends rp community so I can follow you (and likely rp with you!) Thank you, partner!))
the great escape
his grin spread under his mask, an almost hungry look in his eyes. “It would be my genuine pleasure, dear captain~” he answered, his voice low, shaking slightly with anticipation as the two men reached the top of the stairs. as soon as one caught sigh of jhin’s gun he called over his shoulder down the hall. “WE GOT RUNNERS! ONE OF EM’S ARMED!” Jhin let out a sinister laugh. “yes! more! this scene doesnt have enough players!” he cocked whisper back. “scene 1, act 2. ACTION!” he called out before firing off a shot, piecing the sternum of the first man in a burst of blood. “more feeling!” he called out, another shot ringing out, right between the second mans eyes. “better, but not quite right. good thing we have plenty more players~” he mused with excitement as he reloaded whisper.
She felt almost privileged to see a weapon like Whisper in action. Its’ peculiar design, despite the obvious emphasis placed on aesthetics, didn’t lack for power. And to think that it was in a simpler, more unfinished state...But she couldn’t stand about drooling over his gun. She had to keep moving. The tower was circular, the hallway of their cell lead down the stairs-- towards the guards-- and then on flat ground in the other direction-- towards where their missing bits were being kept, no doubt.
“Keep it up, darling~. Let’s get moving.” She headed down the hallway, away from their pursuers. The way around the corner led them to a locked door, of course. “Ah. Figures.”
Fortune promptly took to ramming her shoulder against the door, hoping to bust it down. She was kind of a weighty woman, after all. But it wasn’t giving nearly as fast as she wished it would.
“And now, the curtain rises.” I have a habit, when I really love that character or thing, I will try to draw the whole thing even beneath till i get the whole 360, dissecting them in my mind till im satisfied. Although they are not 100% alike as offical settings (well 3d models on lolking are the closest thing i could find) but here, “im a slave to this passion”- close enough? xD Hope you all enjoy them like i did_(:3
Hella nice as ref :3
the great escape
he grinned under his mask, once again drawing whisper. its time to dance, darling. you know I only share my spotlight with you~ “I was hoping we’d get to this part. the thrilling second act, the great escape! the title needs a bit of work, but we’ll fix it in post.” he shrugged, loading whisper.
She looked back to him, a mixture of confusion and amusement on her face at his literature allusions.
“I adore you.” She shook her head good-naturedly, moving to head out of the cell. Her feet were bare-- which was certainly unpleasant for her, as she took great care in keeping her feet in good condition, but she hadn’t gotten to choose what bits of her clothing they took away. Most distressingly, they had taken Shock and Awe. She needed them back. She had to rely on Jhin until they were firmly back in hand.
The sound of rapidly encroaching footsteps could be heard. The two guards from before were heading up the stairs!
“Company, my dear. Take care of them, if you would?”
Happy Valentine's Day Mr. Du Couteau~.
“Why thank you, Captain. To you as well. Please, my father is Mr. Du Couteau, just call me Talon.”
She watched him fumble, trying not to let show how absolutely endearingly hilarious she found it. She smiled, “…That’d be nice. It gets a little lonely doing all this work by myself, after all~.”
“Yes. Good. Fine, we’ll have a drink then.” He says clearing his throat. “After you?” Yeah, a drink would be incredible right now actually. Might smooth him out.
Fortune exhaled softly, turning her gaze out over the sea and sky. todays forecast is sunny with a major chance for total enemy team destruction~))
The assassin thumbs through the binder with distant interest, humming quietly to himself before meeting her gaze again. “That’s very doable. Just give me names and locations and the jobs will get done. I’m not cheap, mind you, But I’m sure you were aware when you sent for me.”
“Only the best for this little endeavor~.” She cooed softly, “I included a contract at the end of that little binder there. It’s your’s to keep~.”
