What are your thoughts that one theory that the chaos gods (except slynesh) used to be nicer, more pure embodiments to simpler urges (like Nurgle having been a representation of paternal love and instinct, Korne representing fights over territory or to protect one’s family unit, Tzeench being the joys of discover truth and information) before the unprecedented quantity of suffering caused by galaxy-wide late stage capitalism tainted them into what they are currently?

Personally I think it’d be cool as hell if Tzeench had this big secret about his own true nature that he was hiding beneath a million different deceits.
