I wanna work on stuff but brainbody is just tiiiired wehh not fair #That said there are still a couple more posts queued for VLH #Thank you backlog for keeping things rolling smoothly even during my massive valley lol #Gonna start running out soon but eh #I'm just glad I've been able to doodle and scan and edit without it Completely wiping me out #Gives me a little hope for being able to catch up on my other doodles from this and last year #Still a lot... But the larger bulk of Vargas doodles does take some of that pressure off lol #And I'm basically fully caught up on edits on that side of things so lol #Splitting chapters is so haaardd augh #It's good for granular appreciation of a scene but also - splits up the scene makes it a weird reading experience #S'fine to go slow on the third go 'round I suppose lol #Already planning my fourth reread in the middle of the third lol #Anyway anyhow #I really do need to see about setting up for a stream sometime in the near future I miss it #I'll try to announce it at least a good day or so beforehand whenever it ends up manifesting lol #Vargas #Tangentially

Hmm maybe who knows hehe #But also like - Bar's first life was as an Irken born into the empire and all that entails so just #Manage your expectations about his childhood lol #He was of course very cute but uhhh Irkens aren't exactly known for their robust child rearing skills lol #But other than that yeah! In his current lifetime he's never been a child! Fully formed since he came back haha #It did help that he only got that transformation After he'd been an adult character for a while #It was fun to draw him all chibi tho lol - dunno if that quite satiates what you'd be looking for tho lol #I also don't know what he'd look like as a child in his current form - it never happened and unless a different event was running...#Point being he's always been an adult for as long as he's looked like he does now!#I also think Negative means it even more than Bar does - he also only started existing after Bar was an adult #Still Irken but Negative has never ever been a child even when Bar was - he manifested later #I promise I made him before I ever read Vargas lol I was just predisposed to be insane about Vargas haha <3 #Just like a guy who's two guys a whole lot - though I am picky! Haha

#Original #Bar #My art #He's being both intentionally obtuse and overly humble - he wasn't just In that pageant he was the winner of that season lol #That was the event that got me so much of my comment practice! The place I owe quite a lot of my online etiquette to!#I have a lot of fond memories of IPP :) It was a really lovely season and everyone really did do such beautiful work #Participants and hosts! It was a really nice environment to play in :D #And they were very understanding when my at-the-time computer died on me - didn't skip a month!#It was a close race and I definitely would've been out if I'd dropped haha #I remember reading the results on the library's public computers - sitting there in the bank of desktops tallying the points #And then I used a Very jank tower computer for at least the next entry lol - I was back up and running by the end tho!#Man I drew so much finished work that year.... How......#Bar was admittedly a big factor - the amount of Muse Energy on him is... Well I'm familiar with it Now lol #Also! He actually has a reason to be so blush! And then time Fully got away from me #First RPGMaker and now Vargas lol #To be fair it wasn't Just Vargas that had my attention pulled #I've been trying really hard to still keep my productivity up and not go All In on Vargas - as fun as that sounds!!!!#Partially because of the One Chapter A Day Limit - something I've grumbled mildly about but smol has held me firm lol #And it is good pacing - I'm able to spend more time drawing between chapters!#Just...y'know........ Fanart and not the thing I Said I'd draw...... Like Bar lol #But I did! I got his weekly in! Reallyyyyy close to the deadline like literally day of lol #All new lines on these too augh - I also forgot to keep his antennae separate so had to be Real careful while recolouring #But he's here and he's awful hooray lol #Negative hasn't been as up near the front as Bar has so he's not as aware of Everything - partially because he wasn't invited lol #But he is correct in that he knows everything Bar does just usually in inverse #So his opinions of it would be different than Bar's #How different? Guess you'll hafta ask hehe

#Vargas #I do not know when I'll be back but what I Do know is that I haven't filled a page this fast in uhhhhhhhh #It's definitely giving Fixation Levels but we're not even There Yet #But I can feel it #It's starting I can tell lol #The momentum is picking up and I've had /years/ to kineticise this potential #I still make no promises - I still haven't figured out the Thing that happened to my brain to make sharing doodles not happen #But it's going well enough that I'm tentatively optimistic #And most of all Extremely excited #Third Full go around and with a switchup on how I read it twofold #And that's not even touching the stuff I /haven't/ read yet hhahahhhhouguhhh #Let's see how far my preparation gets me in Handling This lol

So he's also 10 years old now sheesh #He's always just been called ''Negative'' - not Rab or anything like that lol I don't think he's really about that #His Deal™ is kinda hard to parse.... He likes Bar because Bar had a hot self-hatred streak for a good long while #He's twistedly truthful - he likes saying upsetting things that are technically correct but not particularly tactful or careful #Thinking about it... He's kind of a lot like Kaiein hmm... He's even got the black/white inversion theming..... Dunno how I feel about that #He also never had any other inverse than Bar's original Irken form! No human Negative - no JD iteration unless you want to count Kaiein lol #I don't they're just similar they're not the same - probably pulled from a similar source #Bar and I got pretty vague around the edges for a while and Charm's another sona - Kaiein's a foil to her so mnnh #Half a dozen in one if you will #So - here he is with Bar's current form! Just for April Fools tho lol #I guess he is technically a Bar.... You can ask for him if you want to but otherwise it'll default back to Bar's current form lol #He can also see through the 4th Wall - just because he's inverted doesn't mean his abilities are opposite Bar's lol #He really tried to push for purple eyeshadow but I vetoed it - you get purple highlights on the lineart and you'll be thankful #His reasoning was twofold - Bar's skin used to invert to purple and his eye makeup un-inverted also used to be purple #Inverting him basically flip-flopped his eyeshadow and his skin and Negative wanted a callback to that #His current inverse is blue! Take your inverted eye colour and be grateful!#Drawing his hand was fun - as was colouring his light suit lol I think it's silly but pretty

Definitely - I'd consider any game that makes me cry as being one that alters my brain chemistry lol; makes me a stronger reader and writer, broadens the kinds of things I like to think about, inspires me to think about that story in particular or have shaped my taste moving forward, well after having set them down

Plenty of games that are works of art from within their code as well - the kind that makes me want to play them just to see more of what they can do, what the developers and programmers thought was important or fun or interesting

It is hard to think of a game that has Stuck With Me of like - changing my Perspective of something. Probably the closest I can think of would be The Stanley Parable, any and every version, though it's hard to pick a specific ending haha. The whole game then!

I did really enjoy the cherry blossom's update, the lush caves update, and I feel like it would be cheating to say the Hermitcraft 6 server download since that one was very much Made and not Generated so hmm

I'm sure it's nothing lol #Well apparently my dream-mind finally put the pieces together lol - Krillin is also a mini sweetheart!#Always trying his best <3 #I also have him shipped with an angry shouty man too hmmm..... I'm sure it's nothing! Haha #The dream was mostly in Cryo's style - cute and soft lads all over! Hehe #I tried drawing Krillin in an Elsen style but he didn't quite turn out... Drawing on paper may be a slightly deciding factor there #The soft greys really do a lot <3 Maybe another time haha #So the next closest would be Shortsen in Krillin's gi! Ready to hit the gym!#Orange very ostentatious for an Elsen to wear haha maybe he got a monochrome version #Switches out his black tie for a black belt hehe #Shortsen would be very hard to knock over in a horse stance - very low center of gravity hehe #And I'm sure Krillin would be happy to train with someone who's not like 10x as strong as he is haha #Loves his friends but they are A Lot #He's very strong for being literally just a human - everyone else is some kind of alien or superhuman! #Does anyone even know what I'm talking about lol did anyone here use join.me #Back before it was pay-to-play anyone could ''host a meeting'' and invite in I think up to like 25 people?#The streams I hosted and the ones I went to generally topped out at around 10 and those were on the busiest days lol #But it was so intimate and chill...#Anyone could join as long as they could access it on their browser - it would prompt you to pick a username to chat with and then you're in #No sign-up not even verification lol it was all on the honour system #No way to share audio so we'd all have playlists going in our own little islands #Chat would entertain itself by dishing about the latest happenings and commenting on the art from time to time #It was such a small and tight-knit community that everyone kept up on whatever else was happening #Weh I'm feeling wistful and nostalgic #I don't Mind YouTube streaming - the recording is nice enough and it's (unfortunately) near-ubiquitous #But I miss how accessible and yet still small it used to be...
