q: does it mean bts’ new name is “beyond the scene”? should i call them “beyond the scene” instead of “bts” now? a: no, “bts” is still “bts”. their english name remains as “bts”. “bts” before was just the acronym of “bang tan sonyeondan” (bulletproof boy scouts) in korean. the 3 letters don’t have any specific meaning in english. however now they have added a new meaning to “bts”, making it into Beyond The Scene. this is just a way to rationalize the name “bts”.

q: what happens to the name “bangtan” or “bulletproof boy scouts”? a: nothing. those names remain the same bts’ korean name will still be 방탄소년단 (bulletproof boy scouts).

q: so what changed? a: bts’ brand identity (specifically, logo) changed to match their bigger goals in the future. a new logo for army which is visualized as the reflection if bts’ logo is also presented.

Brb while I cry because of jealousy. The reason why I’m signing off for Jinny is because right now, she is actually at the Jamsil Stadium waiting for the EXO concert!!!
