i feel like i’ve always considered we were dead before the ship even sank one of modest mouse’s worst albums (not saying it’s bad, just doesn’t compare to the rest of their discography) but recently i haven’t been able to stop listening to it!! ESPECIALLY little motel!! i’ve been addicted to this album for the past couple weeks and i regret not giving it the attention it deserves !!

isaac, eric, and jeremiah are already an incredible unstoppable force.. add johnny marr into the equation?? CRAZY STUFF HAPPENING!!! i feel ashamed that ive kinda skipped over this album for so long

Have you heard T.A.T.U.’s version of The Smiths’ ‘How Soon Is Now’? —Helen, Manchester They’re the ones who are flogging themselves as being lesbians, yeah? Fair enough. We could do with a bit more of that sort of thing in the charts! I haven’t heard them doing ‘How Soon Is Now’, but I imagine Morrissey would approve. Johnny Marr certainly would.
