I can’t exactly explain why, but my Strattland Baby is named “Mallory Grace Stratt”
Mallory is a French name meaning “unlucky” or “unfortunate”
Imagine that Mallory is also Ryland’s mothers name, his bio mother
And so baby Mallory is the third in a line of unlucky women,
Her Grandmother, Mallory Gentry married an evil man whom she loved and lost him and all of her sons in the same instant
Her mother, Eva Stratt had to murder her father, Dr Ryland Grace in order to save the world, she would never forgive herself for doing it, but she would also never forgive herself if she couldn’t do it
Baby Mallory will never meet her Father, cursed to die in space at the hand of her mother, and her mother may just spend the rest of her life in prison because of it

"Yeah," He says quietly, way too drunk. "He probably got used to the feeling. Our dad used to beat the shit out of him. I wouldn't be scared of falling from a building either if I got hit half as much as he did."
