I’m gonna be so honest with everyone, Curly couldn’t have done anything about Jimmy. “But Sylvie, that just caused more pain for Anya, Curly could have done SOMETHING-“ WRONG.

They were locked on a ship with him in the middle of space. He was clearly unstable and confronting him about it would have been the worst thing meaning Anya would have gotten hurt or killed. And when Jimmy WAS confronted, even by Curly who I’m assuming told him that Anya was pregnant very calmly, he crashed the fucking ship.

No matter how this scene played out Jimmy is still a selfish psychopath and trying to get him to face the consequences of his actions would have done nothing.

Killing jimmy was the only solution to keep everyone safe, but in that case that he’s dead they could go to jail or smth for his murder. And regardless Anya was still pregnant and that were on the ship for a LONG time. So it’s a lose lose. Either way she’d just get more and more pregnant and, while I hate to admit this, have given birth while still on the ship. No matter how this plays out nobody wins.
