Theoretical dissection of IPs in DL in the possible Future.
Question.
Was the Astro Orbitor designed to be a Treasure Planet ride? I mean its right on the edge of Tomorrowland, next to now-gone French Fry Rocks, in a spacepunk setting, towards the other 3 lands, matching Treasure Planet’s Genres.
And were the Rocket Rods also supposed to be Atlantis: The lost Empire in some way? It goes past fantasyland, and its also in tomorrowland, towards main street, towards adventureland and frontierland (echoes of cast?). Also the observatron looks like it’d fit the movie’s style
Also I have a feeling Innoventions was themed subtly to Meet the Robinsons, considering the architecture, and the use of gold.
Maybe The Orange Stinger was incognito a James and the Giant Peach ride, considering you are INSECTS inside a GIANT FRUIT floating on water.
Or Maybe the Maliboomer was secretly a Honey, I blew up the Kid Ride, being in the Giant Things and most lit area.
The Golden Zephyr being a Rocketeer-esque ride, placed next to the Farm and with Art Deco Inspiration
And Mullholland Madness had a theme towards the Goofy Movie at one point (It would have been a bit more successful), placed on Route 66.
I think Eisner was onto something, but never got all the way with it.
Also Schmoozies and Award Wieners feel of 2000s Disney Channel to this day.
Yesss.

Idea: Disneyland Resort ‘Grand Skyway’
I had an Idea for a Skyway for California Adventure, and it became an Idea for a second skyway for Disneyland.
The Skyway would have 3 Stations: Pixar Pier/Paradise Gardens Park, Hollywood Land, and Tomorrowland.
At Pixar pier/Paradise Gardens Park, the Jumping Jellyfish Attraction would be torn down for a new Intamin Parachute attraction themed to UP, along with the Skyway end themed to Carl Fredrickson’s House.
The Skyway would ascend up to Grizzly Peak, having a turn right to the straight section, located right above the turntable for Grizzly River Run, which results in the buckets flying over Grizzly Peak.
A Straight section would go on over Buena Vista Street and Hollywood Land, with it being visible from the Esplanade, and crossing in a slanted fashion to blend in with the Hollywood Pictures Backlot Facade, but not contradict with the view of Carthway Circle Theater (too much).
The Hollywood Station would be located where the Captain Marvel Building is at the moment, descending around the performing arts Stage. The station would be themed to California Adventure in general and the surrounding area.
If the guest has a park hopper ticket by chance, they would board the 2nd track over to Disneyland, which flies over the esplanade, but once entering Disneyland, shielding the part you can see from Google Earth, through a tunnel, and to the Tomorrowland Station, located in the area between Alien Pizza Planet and Tomorrowland Expo Center.
The Tomorrowland Station would keep the surrounding Area’s theme, similar to Mission to Mars, and Blending in with the Carousel of Progress, at an elevated Platform to have Backstage Still be Accessible.
