For those who don't know: Ikumi Nakamura is the woman who was senior artist on Bayonetta, and designed the titular character along with Hideki Kamiya. Their greatest moment of bonding was over their insistence that Bayonetta keep her glasses on at all times. Nakamura cannot go to horny jail. She is the warden.
Happy pride month to her and her exclusively
she made a comic about the experience on twitter

An Update from back in October I'm surprised wasn't added to this post. lol
i swear there's going to be a huge scandal over ozempic in years to come. my dad was on it a couple years ago now, it was prescribed to him as he's diabetic with multiple stents, artery disease, one kidney, etc. so one of the types of people you could actually make a case for needing it and even now his build is the same, it's so weird. i'm very bony and thin and his arms and legs are almost as skinny as mine. he genuinely looks like he's experienced muscle wastage, even his shoulders have narrowed. he was always heaviest on the stomach but it's starker now and they say visceral fat is the most dangerous. also when he was on it he would vomit up almost everything he ate, it was basically like drug enforced bulimia
I sat behind the same girl in class all year and I was painfully jealous of her beautiful curly hair and I assumed she had just figured out some hair routine I didn't know, or had more time in the mornings than me, or was somehow more disciplined or just lucky. And then my friend talked to her one day and found out she gets 500$ perms and highlights 3 times a year. The answer was literally just money. The same friend found out that most of our classmates who I thought were just naturally smarter than me went to private highschools that cost 25k a year.
This is all a metaphor to say that there will be times when you feel like other people understand something that you don't, or have some ability that you don't, or are better than you in some way because they've accomplished something you can't. And it's going to turn out that they're just rich and they spent thousands of dollars to make that happen. You are not bad, you are not broken, the system is just fucked.

sometimes a woman hurts every man who enters her life because she's awesome
“ohhh hot showers are bad for your skin and hair” don’t care + didnt ask + shedding on you and shedding on you and shedding on you + boiling myself alive like a lobster
I have longstanding theory the women are more horny than men but we’re tricked into thinking otherwise bc men don’t have to worry about ~~consent~~ so they’re free to experience more sexual desire
Women have better orgasms than men
We have no refractory period between orgasms
We have an entire organ dedicated to pleasure
Our orgasms have no other biological function - we orgasm for the pure joy of it rather than to impregnate/pass on DNA
Our arousal is hidden - I could be literally thinking of sex 24/7 and nobody would know. This is also why I think it should be men who are flaunting themselves sexually in public/all over media - women can experience arousal entirely privately and not be a public nuisance
Our arousal does not make us vulnerable. An erection steals bloodflow and sticks out awkwardly, making it vulnerable to being broken, as well as emotionally vulnerable - men should naturally feel self-conscious about their erections. I think this is part of the reason men are so obsessed with making their dicks out to be some sort of weapon and symbol of power - they are massively overcompensating for their inability to experience an incredibly powerful, intimate and vulnerable sensation privately and safely.
Men being ‘visual’ is a massive overcompensation for the fact that their orgasms just aren’t that good. They lack the sensation in the penis that women do in the clitoris, and so they ‘need’ visual stimulation to give them extra incentive to be sexual.
Examples of women desiring sex from their aging, disinterested husband are commonplace, but every time a woman loses interest in sex we can always point to a man who is uninterested in her pleasure. A lot of those disinterested aging husbands will suddenly find their libido again when they find a younger woman - which, once again, shows that their sex drive is fueled by external factors such as rape/exploitation and being ‘visual’
Unfortunately, a culture of mass dehumanisation of women has rendered consent meaningless for men - men do not have to consider sex as a joint enterprise, meaning they can see a hot woman and fantasise about her sexually as much as they like. An emotionally and morally healthy person may experience arousal regardless, but considering someone else’s humanity and desire will always deflate any arousal to a healthy level. Men have artificially raised their perceived level of sexual desire via rape culture.
Oh also: the fact that men’s ‘visual’ attraction seems to be largely based on what’s considered attractive for the time period and/or culture - I’ve always considered that odd bc if attraction is supposed to be this primal biological drive then why is it so easily influenced by fashions? Why are some cultures attracted to women with artificially raised necks, bound feet, corseted waists? Men are pathologically obsessed with attractions to women based on symbols of submission and literally restricting our ability to get away, not to mention the fact that they can be sexually attracted to bodies and faces so distorted that they don’t look like human women at all - this says to me that men actually have a lot more vulnerable feelings about sex than they’d like to admit; they want their sexual desire so safe and protected from pesky things such as consent, humanity and mutuality. If we took away such symbols of submission would men be as hyper-sexual as they claim?
